TSLA falls, UBER rises - What are the Odds?
Ceasefire truce between Israel and Iran continued to fuel US market rally on Tue, 24 Jun 2025, despite subsequent reporting that both Israel and Iran have continued to shell each other. This made Trump looked “ineffective” as he had brokered the deal and bitched about his unhappiness on social media platform. (see below) Still, market continued with the rally it wanted, helped by falling oil prices. Not even a weaker-than-expected Consumer confidence report managed to dampen market sentiments. (more on this later) When 4pm came around: DJIA: +1.19% (+507.24 to 43,089.02). S&P 500: +1.11% (+67.01 to 6,092.18). Posted 19 new 52-week highs and no new lows.
