Although the $S&P 500(.SPX)$ 5-wave advance suggested more time correcting or a deeper pullback, confidence in further downside has dropped with $NASDAQ 100(NDX)$ already making a new high and SPX likely to follow this week. The bullish divergence at the Aug 1 low may now serve as the swing point for the next wave up. While some sideways action is possible before breaking out, I’m not expecting much more downside — if any.The ideal buy level remains 6178, but the odds of reaching it have decreased, as the Aug 1 low may have marked the extreme of this correction (see my $Dow Jones(.DJI)$ + $iShares Russell 2000 ETF(IWM)$

I currently hold shares in Wendy’s (WEN), and their recent Q2 earnings report gives me plenty of reasons to feel optimistic. The numbers show a company that’s improving its profitability while staying connected to its customer base in creative ways. First, the basics: Wendy’s beat expectations for the quarter, reporting an adjusted EPS of $0.29, which is a 7.4% increase in diluted earnings per share compared to the previous year. This rise in EPS is supported by a slight increase in net income, primarily driven by higher operating profits. These figures suggest that Wendy’s is effectively managing costs and enhancing operational efficiency, a crucial factor in the competitive fast-food industry where margins can be tight. Earnings for the week 11Aug25 - Oh Deere? (part 1 of 5)
Economic Calendar: Key Market Movers (week of 11Aug25) Public Holidays There are no public holidays in China, Singapore, America or Hong Kong. Observations Next week's key macroeconomic events will centre on the release of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), a primary indicator of inflation. Market participants are anticipating a rise in CPI, which could raise concerns among investors hoping for a reduction in interest rates by the Federal Reserve. This outcome may even prompt the Federal Reserve to consider an interest rate hike. Additionally, the Producer Price Index (PPI) is projected to increase to 0.2%, up from the previous month. The PPI serves as an early indicator of inflationary pressures on producers, which are often subsequently passed on to consumers. Further economi

But the convergence is not completed, and we are expecting the uptrend to continue. Both the 50 MA line and the 200 MA line are showing an uptrend. This speaks of a bullish outlook for both the short and long term. The CMF is positive at 0.05, indicating more buying pressure over the past 20 periods. The technical indicators suggest a “Strong Buy”. Based on daily intervals, we have 20 indicators showing a “Buy” rating and 1 showing a “Sell” rating. Outlook and Implicat
