      The Ultimate High-Conviction Investment Question

$Microsoft(MSFT)$ If you were given $1 million and told you could invest it in just one stock — no ETFs, no diversification, no second chances — what would you choose? This hypothetical scenario cuts through all the noise and forces investors to evaluate a company not just on short-term gains, but on long-term dominance, financial resilience, and strategic vision. It's not a gamble; it's an exercise in identifying a business so strong, so durable, and so well-managed that you’re willing to place all your chips on it. The idea might seem reckless at first — modern portfolio theory preaches diversification for good reason — but some of the most successful investors built their wealth through concentrated positions in great businesses. If I had $1 million to invest, I wouldn’t stop there—I’d keep pushing to grow it. Reaching that milestone just means I’ve built a solid foundation. In today’s fast-moving world, letting money sit idle feels riskier than putting it to work. I believe in staying active and strategic with my investments to build long-term wealth. It’s still early-stage and high-risk, but that also means huge potential upside. I believe this tech could reshape industries from AI to medicine, and IonQ is one of the few pure plays available today. That’s why I’m steadily collecting shares—I see it as a hi

Well... 1️⃣ In my opinion, Google is a company with presence in different sectors. Mobiles, AI, Smart Home, etc. Btw, Gemini didn't take over my phone to write this part 🤪 2️⃣ What's Grab? Jk, I know what it is (Gemini told me 😉) Again, I perceive Uber as a company with more presence than its rival and nimble adapt to the market 3️⃣ Palantir, explosive share 🧨 enjoy volatility. Meta is recognized for its fast-paced development cycles, strong focus on social media platforms, and a more direct leadership style. 2️⃣ Uber vs Grab: This one (B) is an easy choice for me because I am a grab user. Grab has tons more discount codes and loyalty rewards for its users. 3️⃣ Palantir vs Axon: This one for me is (A) Both stocks have surged over 100% in 2024, but personally I prefer to choose pelantir. 4️⃣ Mastercard vs Visa: I choose (B) Visa because Visa cards generally offer slightly stronger travel-related benefits and protections, while Mastercards may unlock access to more discounts and exclusive e

I think the saying of not putting all the eggs in one basket bears much wisdom. I would put all my money in a single stock. If I really have to choose a single stick, I would not put it in a single company. My best bet would be in an ETF and the ETF of my choice would be VTI because it tracks the world’s index. It can’t get more diversified with a single stock. It allows me to tap onto the growth of the US and not miss out on the potential big growths of developing countries. Importantly, the expense ratio is only 0.03% so it is a very cost efficient way of diversifying. So, VTI is my choice because it is cheap and offers good diversification; checking all the boxes for a Singaporean. [Sly] @DiAngel
