🎁 What the Tigers Say | Tesla’s Roadster Spectacle Meets Q3 Reality: Innovation, Valuation, or Dist

Hi Tigers 🐯, Welcome to "What the Tigers say." 👋 Tesla’s quarterly earnings and Roadster reveal have Tigers weighing delivery performance against its robotics, autonomy, and engineering ambitions. The debate spans operational resilience, rocket-inspired technology, and competition from Chinese automakers. Before today's session played out, the community was already doing the heavy lifting. Let's rewind to the three sharpest takes from @JC888 (https://ttm.financial/personal/3570103090255456/), @Shernice軒嬣 2000 (https://ttm.financial/personal/3560184106659134/), and @Kentzw (https://ttm.financial/personal/4252393041885622/): JC888 | TSLA Q3 : from EVs to Robotics, AI & FSD ?
🎁 What the Tigers Say | Tesla’s Roadster Spectacle Meets Q3 Reality: Innovation, Valuation, or Dist
TOPJerry Lam: I agree more with @Kentzw's point of view. The Roadster's technological display is indeed impressive, but I think Tesla's biggest challenge right now is not proving how advanced a car it can build, but how to translate its technological advantages into sustainable profitability. Chinese automakers are competing for market share through cost control, intelligent driving, and the speed of product iteration. If Tesla continues to invest heavily in the Roadster, Optimus, and Robotaxi without improving its automotive business gross margin, its long-term valuation will face pressure. However, I don't think the Roadster is just a marketing gimmick. It can serve as a testing platform for new technologies, and its real value lies in whether the relevant technologies can be applied to mass-produced vehicles in the future. There are three key factors that changed my judgment: ① The gross profit margin of automobiles continues to rebound; ② FSD and Robotaxi achieve verifiable, large-scale commercial revenue; ③Optimus has moved from demonstration to practical applications with cost advantages. ** I remain optimistic about Tesla's technological potential, but technological leadership does not equate to commercial success. What will determine TSLA's valuation in the future is not how high the Roadster can fly, but how much free cash flow these innovations can ultimately generate. 🐯

$CoreWeave Fell 12%, But the Bond Market Said It First: Will the Credit Warning Spread? A Put Seller's Read Written Monday 19 Oct, SGT, using Friday's US closes. Most people saw the headline: CoreWeave down 11.91% on Friday to $61.39. But the stock was the last thing to move. The bond market had been warning about this for weeks. What actually happened - Stock: down 25.21% for the week, from $82.08 to $61.39, just above its 52-week low of $59.51. It is down 55.91% over the past year. - Bonds: the October 2031 notes briefly yielded more than 16% on Thursday, and some CoreWeave bonds traded near 79 cents on the dollar. - Credit default swaps: the five-year CDS hit an all-time intraday high of 1,194.5 basis points and closed Friday at 1,117. Bloomberg data puts the implied probability of defa

TOPstomachooo: I’m watching the 2031 bonds first — sub 80 cents is the cleaner alarm. That 60% default read also depends hard on recovery assumptions, and low assumed recovery makes the credit story even uglier.

$UOB(U11.SI)$ So, can UOB claim the 43 level again? Or is the EMA going to be the new resistance? Weekly and Monthly charts show it to be above the 50EMA, which suggest bullish momentum is still there.  With all that is going on, can banks still be the traditional safe haven in troubled times?

TOPCarterSilas: I would not call banks a safe haven here. Above 50EMA is fine, but higher rates can turn credit risk into the real pressure point before 43 gets reclaimed.

Rumors of an "AI Black Monday"? Here is what you need to know.  After months of unprecedented momentum, the AI trade is facing its biggest test yet. Big tech and chip stocks are seeing heavy profit-taking, and macro fears are sparking talk of a wider market reset. Why the sudden pressure on Semis & AI? 🔹 Valuation Reality Check: Investors want to see real revenue, not just huge capex promises. 🔹 Higher Rates & Inflation: Borrowing costs are staying elevated, weighing on high-multiple growth stocks. 🔹 Crowded Trade Unwind: Institutional funds are taking profits and moving to safety. Whether this turns into a deeper correction or creates prime dip-buying opportunities comes down to upcoming big tech earnings.  Drop your market prediction in the comments: 🟢 Temporary dip – b

$CRITICAL METALS CORPORATION(CRML)$ The Few Good Men... In a market correction, one always needs something positive to feel good... CRML happens to be one of those... it's just a small spike, but in a dull week, the light shines brightly through!  As I had mentioned a couple of weeks ago in a sharing, it is not going to be big bites, but I am going to have my cakes 🍰 and eat it. Just a little at a time.  As CRML is a political animal, Trump's distracting Greenland 🇬🇱 obsession brings cheers to companies such as CRML. I won't be surprised if one of his family members or himself discloses a stake in it some time in the future. In a normal functioning world, it's not allowed as it is indeed insider trading and market manipulation. However,

If I had $10,000 to invest during this market pullback, I would not go all in at once. My approach would be to keep most of the money diversified while taking advantage of lower prices gradually. I would put the core of the portfolio into a broad global ETF such as VWRA, which gives exposure to thousands of companies across developed and emerging markets. Rather than trying to guess where the bottom is, I would continue buying in stages. I would also keep some cash aside for a larger correction. A 5% drop may look attractive today, but markets can always fall another 10% or 20%. Having cash available means I do not have to choose between panic-selling existing investments and missing a better buying opportunity. For individual stocks, I would be much more selective. The recent volatility i

📉 Navigating the Market Pullback: Why I’m Selling Puts and Buying the Dip on CIFR and COIN The recent market weakness has certainly tested investor patience. While pullbacks can feel uncomfortable, they also offer some of the best entry points for long-term investors who have been waiting on the sidelines for valuations to cool down. When evaluating whether to "buy the dip" or stay cautious, I follow a disciplined strategy rather than emotional instinct. With "flight to safety" capital rushing into big tech and blue-chip stocks boasting bulletproof cash flows, mid-term macro worries have introduced a fresh wave of uncertainty to Mr. Market—and as we know, the market hates uncertainty. Expect more volatility ahead! Here is how I am navigating the current market dynamics, deploying cash,

TOPwimpy: CIFR daily RSI is already flirting with oversold, and volume drying up usually hints seller exhaustion. Selling puts there makes more sense than chasing random dips imo
