TOPI regret missing out on circle as I did not believe fundamentally, the business model makes sense. However, the market bought to it and it rallied insanely. On retrospect, it would have made a good swing trade. As the US market gets increasingly expensive, I have shifted my focus to the China and HK markets where valuation is still cheap. However, the past few years have taught me that China/HK markets do better to trade than to invest as the volatility is most times unexplained by fundamentals but market’s confidence. So, I swing traded popmart and mixue this year as I feel that trends can’t be fought against and as long as there are many willing stock buyers and consumers, the stocks would do well. As of now, I’ve exited both positions as the china government’s potential crackdown on blind boxes can be hurtful for the popmart stock price even if the market is a global one. Mixue’s upside can be limited as competition intensifies.

Of these, I am not familiar only with credo. I won’t be adding any of these stocks if my plan is for long term investment but they make good options for swing trading to tap onto the market’s euphoria. Trump signing deals with China and soon India will likely spark another round of euphoria, making it a good time for swing trading. For long term investments, I would avoid Netflix as I am not convinced that it will continue to deliver as consumers get more picky with their entertainment. Robinhood feels like a hype to me, riding the AI wave and so I would avoid it. I think palantir will remain relevant, especially with its large contracts with the US government. With the increasing global uncertainty, palantir would do well to tap onto the US government. However, I wouldn’t buy at this
