We would trade (or not trade) in order to make sure we pushed out green weeks each week. But sometimes the market dictated we take losses now in order to set us up for a better situation down the road, but we would ignore it because taking a loss meant producing a red week ... and we didn't want to show that on the P/L.It has been much better to not trade for the weekly or monthly P/L, but instead to trade for what the market is doing and giving each day each week.Optionselling account comeback confirmed we made the right decision. How I Secured My Final Dividend from VST and Recovered It with a Smart Options Move 💼📉 As the expiry of my covered call nears and my 100 shares of Vistra Energy (VST) are likely to be called away at the $135 strike on 20 June 2025, I took one last opportunity to capture the dividend while also executing a calculated options strategy to recover its value.
