[Event] Tomb-sweeping Day: If You Could Send Anything to Your Ancestors, What Would It Be?

Qingming Festival is one of the most important traditional holidays for Chinese communities. 、Besides visiting graves and paying respects to ancestors, many also burn paper offerings as symbolic gifts for their loved ones in the afterlife. If you could choose anything to send, what would it be?A Singaporean netizen shared that with work stress and little time to enjoy life, he would definitely send a mahjong table to his ancestors—so they can have fun with their neighbors in the afterlife! Some young people choose burgers and fries as offerings, arguing that modern life is all about convenience. If that’s the case, why not burn an entire $McDonald's(MCD)$ store instead?A Chinese netizen had a similar idea but opted for a 7-Eleven stor
[Event] Tomb-sweeping Day: If You Could Send Anything to Your Ancestors, What Would It Be?
TOPShyon: If I could send anything to my ancestors, I’d start with a fully stocked 7-Eleven store so they’d have access to all their favorite snacks and essentials anytime. Owning a store was a childhood dream for many, so why not let them experience that joy in the afterlife? It’s both practical & fun! For entertainment, a Mahjong table is a must—it’s a great way to relax, socialize, and keep their minds sharp. I’d also send a luxurious vacation package with five-star resorts & endless buffets, ensuring they enjoy a well-deserved break. After all, life (and afterlife) shouldn’t just be about responsibilities; it should be about enjoyment too. Lastly, for financial security, I’d send a bank with unlimited withdrawals instead of just gold ingots. To keep them connected, I’d also include a smartphone with unlimited internet, so they can check in on us and stay updated on the world. This way, they’d have everything they need for a comfortable & fulfilling afterlife. @Tiger_SG @Tiger_comments

The tech stocks are still (very) expensive

Here's the thing...-tech stocks are still (very) expensive-tech earnings are overinflated-recession is on the wayTech was riding high on what were very real high earnings *and* the expectation of external exponential growth. That gets thrown into question when you get a (US) recession and a USA vs the world economic war.The market cycle is already turning, tech earnings are going to correct lower, and tech stock valuations are going to be chasing a moving target down.I suspect some big opportunities will come out of this, but in the mean time focus on defense, risk management, and capital preservation. $S&P 500(.SPX)$ $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ $NASDAQ 100(N

With the $ES meltdown, $SPX should be ready for the next major decline

With the $E-mini S&P 500 - main 2506(ESmain)$ meltdown, $S&P 500(.SPX)$ should be ready for the next major decline escalating the multi-year bear market.Once a new low is produced, I'd favor an ultra bearish 3/4/5 wave sequence to unfold with 5400-5300 as measured targets for the 3rd.Although, there would a great chance to cross the August 5120 low for the 5th. $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ $NASDAQ 100(NDX)$ $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ $E-mini Nasdaq 100 - main 2506(NQmain)$ ImageAlternate/Confirmation:

Greg Boland:The long and short of it: Q1 ends with ‘Liberation Day’ and plenty of red ink

Greg Boland is chief strategy officer at Tiger Brokers.ANALYSIS: The rotation out of the popular AI stocks amid tariff uncertainty cost the US equity market more than US$3 trillion in market value in March, with the S&P 500 closing down 5.75%. Nearly US$2 trillion of this loss was attributable to the Magnificent 7 alone, and in the first quarter of the financial year, the 7 lost over US$2.3 trillion (albeit after a gain of US$1.9 trillion in the last two months of 2024).Overall, the $S&P 500(.SPX)$ fell 4.6%, while the $NASDAQ(.IXIC)$ fell 8.3% in what was the worst quarter since the last quarter of 2022.The market will now digest President Trump’s reciprocal tariffs, which take effect immediatel

Nuclear Energy Stocks: Powering Up Your Portfolio in 2025?

Could the oldest energy source be the newest stock market darling? As of March 25, 2025, nuclear energy stocks are surging, driven by global decarbonization pledges, energy security fears, and a wave of next-gen reactor approvals. The hypothetical Nuclear Power ETF (NUKE) is up 28% year-to-date (YTD), dwarfing the S&P 500’s modest 5% climb. With governments from Japan to the U.S. doubling down on nuclear to meet 2030 climate goals, is this the rally to power your portfolio—or a meltdown waiting to happen? Let’s dive into the trends, data, and strategies to find out if nuclear stocks are your 2025 energy play. A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY

Here's a full recap: 1. Stifel has upheld its Buy rating on $TSLA but dropped its price target to $455 from $474, adjusting near-term delivery expectations due to the Model Y (Juniper) rollout and resistance from anti-Elon Musk sentiment. Data from the Stifel Think Tank Group shows a sharp decline in Democrats’ favorability toward Tesla, posing short-term sales challenges. Consequently, Stifel has revised its forecasts to account for weaker near-term sales, lowering the target price accordingly. Despite anticipating ongoing share price fluctuations, the firm remains confident in Tesla’s medium- to long-term outlook and reaffirms its Buy recommendation. 2. OpenAI secured a record $40 billion funding round, valuing it at $300 billion, surpassing prior tech records. SoftBank led with $30 bill
