$SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ Bears here seem clueless. Did anyone even understand why it dropped? The dust is settling and the truth is coming out. Turns out OpenAI met estimates when you include third-party sales. This drop had nothing to do with Kospi or Samsung earnings.
$SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ I'm expecting a retest of the recent high going forward. It would need to break through to see the 1800s. I'll be watching for that.
$Penguin Solutions, Inc.(PENG)$ PENG's market cap is 3.29 billion versus 1.5 billion in revenue, which is about 2.2 times. SNDK's market cap is 243 billion versus 20.25 billion in revenue, that's 12 times. So PENG looks way undervalued by comparison.
$SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ No need to get worked up. The $Micron Technology(MU)$ earnings report from a few days ago is hard to ignore. There are clearly reasons why it's being held down. But a boiling pot can't stay covered forever. The move is already underway.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ AI datacenters don't run on GPUs alone. They run on memory and storage too. My top 5 AI memory/storage plays: MU — The purest U.S. AI memory play. HBM and DRAM demand keeps exploding as AI servers require more bandwidth and capacity. $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ — NAND is becoming a critical layer for AI inference, KV cache and massive datasets. Flash demand should keep rising as AI workloads scale. $Western Digital(WDC)$ — AI generates mountains of data that have to live somewhere. Training datasets, inference logs, embeddings and outputs create recurring storage demand long after the GPU is installed.
