$RKLB 20260116 2.0 CALL$ Ok so this was the very first options trade I wrote, over a month ago. As you can see I went long, jan 2026, and paid $2.50 for a $2 Right to buy. I have a huge amount of confidence in rocket lab going forward and my intention for this call is to hold it and excise it. Well that was my original intention. But woot, it's now officially in the money today. I'm clearly a bunny when it comes to options. And loving the comments I get from you guys that help me to expand my knowledge. I'm thinking and have actually since this first option trade... looked to cheaper and shorter term trades, but I'm pleased to see the first one, and actually all of my calls so far being in positive territory now. But this trade

Yes I'll be looking to buy more, but not the stock more likely calls. The other item that has come to my attention is that nvidias new AI chips are apparently very very greedy on power, so maybe another long term play is power stocks. Look at where data centres are concentrated and buy into power companies that support those areas. This is going to take some research but I think it's worth it. @Tiger_chat @TigerPM @Daily_Discussion @TigerPicks

So, i believe the biggest issue fundamental investors have is the information they rely on. Often, more often than you think, it's actually wrong, or sometimes it's just calculated in a way you didn't realise. I will use two cases to illustrate, from one investor class... the dividend investor. I look at data every day, and dividend investors are looking for consistent and growing company dividend over time. Personally I want a dividend stock to be doing both. At least once a week, information about the stock I invest in is actually wrong. #arcc last week for eg on one site told me it paid a dividend of only 3 cents per share during 2 quarters of last year, totally wrong. Checking other sources quickly confirmed it to be totally wrong. Moral of the story... don't trust one source of data,

Um, my understanding is trump is blatantly misleading people yet again. This "new" agreement is just a ratification of the 1951 agreement between Greenland and America and Denmark on less favorable terms for America. So personally I won't be Greenland mining stocks

So, the question posed here was what is the market betting on going forward. Lower unemployment? Another rate hike? I'm at the point where I'm really not bothered. Last week the market was back on the AI bubble thing again, this week costs of micron chips are going up 500%, and $NVIDIA(NVDA)$  is to double its production... so it's not a bubble, but probably the waffle of Wall Street will contradict itself again several more times this month. I'm over it!  I'm from a tiny country at the bottom of the world called New Zealand, so I have to hold a world view, compared to an "American" world view. Case and point, the World Series that Americans hold in their country that only includes America. Not trying to be obtrusive here, I was mar

$Agnico Eagle Mines(AEM)$ Ok team, you herd it here first. At the beginning of this week I brought 1 share of this company for around $200usd. That's not really the point of this article, but I'll start here.  For the last 2 years I've been expanding my wheel house to understand resource stocks. Oil and gas have been serious winners so far. Mainly because trump ordered the hit on Iran, not going there, but I saw it coming... well telegraphed.  What I want to discuss is gold and silver stocks, and more importantly AI. so I now understand the difference between an explorer, a miner, a streamer, holding the physical and also trading futures. 2 years! But it is a side hobby to be fair. Another side hobby has been how can AI help me to improve

So what did I buy today? Well it was actually $Realty Income(O)$  yes I'm back in arguably the best dividend stock of all time. In pays dividends every month, and has paid and increased them every month for over twenty years. And the gross dividend yield is over 5% which is not too shabby. But the stock price is up, it generally doesn't move much, so why did I pull the trigger today? Well, it gives me a solid return every month, that consistently goes up at least twice a year. It also has a beta of around 0.5, that's the huge one for me. I'm a value and growth investor predominantly. Realty isn't super cheap ATM. It's definitely not a growth stock either. But my growth stocks with betas around 2 are testing my emotions daily. So for my own

Beware of the numbers. So the pic below, (even though this year has been a tuff ride for most, including me) well it's still says I'm doing better than 98% of all investors on the tiger platform. I'm not trying to Bragg here, cause I think it will illumin a point that to me is way more important. Over time I've learned that numbers don't necessarily reflect the reality of a stock you own or you are considering buying. My point is, you must dive way deeper. So to illustrate this let me dive deeper into if me being in the top 2% of the most successful investors in tiger is actually that impressive. So tiger has over 10 million users worldwide. Of that about 2.4 to 2.7 million users are "active". Let's call it 2.5 million just so I don't need a calculator. If that 98% more successful is based

For me it was rocket lab, brought around $3.60. I actually sold everything else to buy rklb, went all in, but sold on the way up and reinvested in other stuff I sold. To me it was a unicorn. And there’s a lot in, who are hurting atm. Likely some that brought at the peak of $150 are freaking, cause today it was under $60. My dca is now around $4.60 though, so not bothered. Never listen to hype. Research is critical. And time in the market beats timing the market. I think rklb is great buying right now, IREN even better, but to be honest I’m back in O too. Played with oil and gas and that’s been nice, but it was wiped by my pays in gold and silver. Going forward less is more for me. I’ll just stick to the growth and defensive stocks I understand
