So what did I buy today? Well it was actually $Realty Income(O)$  yes I'm back in arguably the best dividend stock of all time. In pays dividends every month, and has paid and increased them every month for over twenty years. And the gross dividend yield is over 5% which is not too shabby. But the stock price is up, it generally doesn't move much, so why did I pull the trigger today?

Well, it gives me a solid return every month, that consistently goes up at least twice a year. It also has a beta of around 0.5, that's the huge one for me. I'm a value and growth investor predominantly. Realty isn't super cheap ATM. It's definitely not a growth stock either. But my growth stocks with betas around 2 are testing my emotions daily. So for my own sanity, I need to even out the daily bumps a tiny bit. (Btw beta refers to how much a stock moves in relation to the S&P 500, 0.5 means it goes up or down half as much as the s&p, 2.0 means it moves twice as much as the s&p).

But, I want to share way more than this small move. I like to share my investment thesis. Basically how I make money while others loose. There are actually lots of things, but if I had to name the most critical one, well let's just go to that.

A fantastic product with a huge moat, yes, but no. As the emotional investor I have a different lense... it's the people... the management. Finding a company with insanely fantastic management with a solid history of not only clear future plans but also a solid history of delivering. Dreams, plans to achieve the dreams, and action illustrating the dreams became reality.

Reality income meets, and exceeds this criteria, easily. So I must own that. Yes it does not meet a lot of my other requirements, but it fulfills the fundamental criteria easily. And as a REIT, they just sorted a very big dilution and debt issue. That could be huge.

I'm not done yet :) far from it. I look for clever strategy and a proven track record of EXECUTION. Enter the other stocks to look at... first up $Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$  my largest position by far. At one point this year, it went up to $150, insane I had to sell some there but brought back in the $70's now it's in the $65 range. Btw I started buying it when it was around $3. See the first slide below, shows I'm not talking nonsense. At $65 it's a buy for me, but note that my average cost is now around $14 and I've trimmed too. You need to consider your own situation before pulling the trigger on any investment.

Second, $IREN Ltd(IREN)$  same deal, meets the execution requirement and actually everything else too. If you look at the second slide below I'm in the red today. i really don't care, my biggest concern is what can I sell to buy more IREN at these Bargin prices. The sheep of Wall Street have been talking this stock down and misrepresenting it for over a year. Bring it on, I'm adding.

Third, $AST SpaceMobile, Inc.(ASTS)$  different story here, it meets my criteria of execution to and extent, but its reliance on third parties to deliver is sucking it's potential dry. But its reliance on has the backing of pretty much all telcos in the world, so long term it is very unlikely to fail. Third slide shows I'm up a bit, I would not sell, but I'm not buying more. ASTS is basically the telecommunications industry going up against Elon and starlink. A battle of the titans. And I love a Great War movie.

Number 4, this one is to illustrate a few points around my investment thesis. $Eos Energy Enterprises Inc.(EOSE)$  so I liked them, so much that I hit the buy button, I usually start with $10. Their batteries, while old school have significant advantages over lithium for many use cases. And a lot of ip making the old tec way better. So great product, huge potential moat. But enter management. I started a position after the management failed to deliver, then they failed to deliver a second time, but I still saw potential so put in a little more to bring my dca down. So I'm in for $100, and recently they failed to deliver a third time. My original investment of $100 is now worth $27. Ya I know, it's not a big deal, but the management team is to my mind incompetent, yet being overpaid for that.

The lesson learned their is have conviction in a new stock, but go in small, build a position slowly, and never FOMO. A thesis can be wrong, no matter your knowledge, I hope this post helps, and as always may the force be ever in your favor

O at 5%+ with that 0.5 beta really is portfolio ballast. Monthly income hits different when the growth names are testing your nerves lol
