$Moderna, Inc.(MRNA)$ Still going strong. For those into bottom fishing and technicals, $Rivian Automotive, Inc.(RIVN)$ has a similar setup to what MRNA had when I was picking it up for dirt cheap at $24-25. The multi-year consolidation is the key part.
Being short semiconductors in 2026 is financially irresponsible. It's earnings season, and bears will be crushed. $Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bear 3x Shares(SOXS)$ could be back in the 20s by mid next month. On top of that, we're entering the most bullish season for US equities.
$IREN Ltd(IREN)$ More than half of IREN's market cap is free cash. Their prepayment structure basically works like 0% interest loans to fund capex, and they own over 5 GW of grid to build and connect to in a premium energy market state. They still need to deliver on checkpoints, for sure. Their CEO stimulus packages are tied to shareholder value and have a 2-year runoff, meaning they need to maintain that shareholder value until 2033 to collect. But some people will keep going on about how it's trading on liquid this weekend.
$SK hynix(SKHY)$ The current dip actually looks like a solid opportunity. Anyone who got out probably shouldn't be investing in this sector at all. This is just how semis behave, they're more volatile. You have to think like an investor, not a trader. Earnings are coming up fast and they should be strong.
$SpaceX(SPCX)$ Bears really think Apollo/Pimco financing $40B of NVIDIA compute for an investment-grade company is the bear case. SPCX isn't borrowing $40B to survive. It's borrowing to scale the infrastructure that could print future revenue. Wall Street is lining up capital for the buildout while bears are staring at the invoice. They saw the construction bill for the Death Star and decided the Empire was broke.
$Applied Optoelectronics(AAOI)$ Strong volume with over 12M shares traded, well above the 30-day average, and the price moved up 7%. That's the kind of action we need to see heading into earnings. I think we'll be over $150 by the ER. I'm buying the dips and holding.
