智通财经APP获悉，周二，“WSB散户新宠”Clover Health$(CLOV)$一度大涨超100%，截至收盘该股收涨85.82%，报22.15美元。目前该股在WSB论坛上的讨论量已超过黑莓排名第一。
根据S3 Partners的数据，Clover Health可能出现了空头挤压，该公司有43.5%的流通股遭到卖空。相比之下，AMC院线(AMC.US)的空头比例约为18%。WSB散户论坛上的交易员正在相互鼓励，抬高该股股价以迫使空头进行回补。一篇帖子写道：“我认为CLOV没有理由不能达到与AMC上周一样的价格点，甚至可能比AMC更高。”
今年早些时候，做空机构Hindenburg曾发布报告称Clover Health是一间“破碎的企业”，此后Clover股价暴跌。该公司在2月份时表示，公司收到了美国证券交易委员会的调查通知，并将与其合作。而卖空者一直在增加他们的看跌头寸。根据S3的数据，在过去30天里，做空的股票增加了约25%。在今日的涨势中，按市值计算空头的损失为4.65亿美元。
