$Apple(AAPL)$ Apple and Meta announced a collaboration that will let developers run Meta's large Muse Spark Open model locally on high-end Mac computers, marking an unusual alliance between the two longtime rivals. The partnership centers on Muse Spark Open, an 816-billion-parameter open-weight model built on a mixture-of-experts architecture. Developers can download the model's weights and run it on pairs of two to four Mac Studio machines equipped with Apple's M5 Ultra chips and high amounts of unified memory. The setup is aimed at coding, video analysis, and other agentic tasks, with Apple optimizing performance through its MLX framework for distributed inference across machines. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Muse Spark Open weights are re
TSMC's record quarter really puts the spotlight on how tight advanced chipmaking capacity has become as AI demand keeps outpacing supply. The company produces most of the world's leading AI processors for Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom, while Apple, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta and OpenAI also rely on its facilities for custom AI chips. TSMC's North American CEO gets at least 10 inquiries a day about wafer capacity. TSMC posted record profit for a sixth straight quarter and expects Q4 revenue to rise 58% year over year. That said, capacity constraints could put AI infrastructure spending and aggressive growth targets at risk, with U.S. hyperscalers planning more than $700 billion in capex this year and further increases expected in 2027. Chipmakers are locking in supply through long-term cont
$Microsoft(MSFT)$ I think MSFT will post strong earnings and another beat, which would make it the 9th beat in a row. The stock has been a slow ride, but maybe after earnings we could finally get toward that $600 a share level. A split could also be on the table at some point, the last one was back in 2003.
$Apple(AAPL)$ Apple is keeping their money to themselves, no need to spend billions like Altman just to make less profit. I hope to pick up some Apple before it really takes off.
$Apple(AAPL)$ You don't have to buy or even like the latest iPhone for AAPL to go up. Owning the stock is a bet on Apple's overall business: iPhone, Services like the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, Apple Pay, plus Mac, iPad, Wearables, and the massive cash pile and buybacks that support the share price. Consumer hardware cycles matter, but they aren't the only driver. Buying the stock is the purest way to express that view. Why did the guy refuse to buy the new iPhone? Because his broker already told him the purest way to support Apple was just to buy the stock. And that way his wallet still had enough left for the next earnings call.
We are now in the most widely favored and anticipated phase of the 4-year Presidential Cycle, often called "The Sweet Spot." From Q4 of the Midterm year through Q2 of the Pre-Election year, SPX has averaged an +18% gain and has a perfect track record of positive returns. $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ $Apple(AAPL)$ $NVIDIA(NVDA)$
$Micron Technology(MU)$ MU's execution has been pretty remarkable. Outside of NVDA, I can't think of anything like this recently. Maybe AAPL back in the day put up a similar run. It's an easy call for me to keep buying.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ MU generated 27% more GAAP income in the latest quarter than AAPL. NVDA is the only US company that made more money than MU. MU is guiding for 15% QOQ EPS growth. MU is clearly sandbagging. Three quarters of their 2027 revenue is already sold under short-term and long-term contracts. The earnings call implied that 50% of production is already spoken for. That remaining 50% will likely go for much more than the contracts currently signed.
$Microsoft(MSFT)$ Honestly, just let it rip. Upgrades and good news are there. The average semi would run 20%, but I'd settle for what we saw earlier. Holding it just under 500 feels kind of lame.
After the kind of flat price action we've seen over the last 12 months, $Microsoft(MSFT)$ looks like it could be the next one to start pushing higher again. It's worth remembering that just a few months back, the stock had gone nowhere for well over 5 years. There's still room for it to move higher, for longer.
$Apple(AAPL)$ I'm going to keep watching for an entry. Patience matters here, and the data will tell me when it makes sense. Discipline over emotion. Not financial advice.
$Apple(AAPL)$ Just 2% to 3% more to reach a $5T market cap. Likely to happen within the next several sessions. As of now it takes about 10% to overtake Nvidia. That seems likely once the Duo becomes available. I'm being optimistic, but I feel confident. Of course, Nvidia can easily do a dozen circular finance deals in a week and pull further away.
Most retail traders start walking away when the market stops being fun and losses pile up. That is exactly when the best opportunities tend to build, while everyone else loses interest. When the hype returns, the same crowd typically floods back just in time to buy near the top. Staying focused and patient matters here. $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ $Apple(AAPL)$ $Microsoft(MSFT)$
