Took the opportunity to sell these covered calls to capture some premium on the way down to offset the paper loss holding the long positions. Strike selected at $60 which is the holding cost, so will be happy to nett off the pair trades should price reverse back above $60. Else will just trade and collect premium to offset the holding cost.

$Alibaba(BABA)$ I opened $Alibaba(BABA)$ , Caught my attention due to the hype, but bought in due to alibaba's generally safe long-run history. 🤔...I feel like its one of those stocks that have high profit swings due to being priced low (like rgtti and mara) but overall still considerably safe (like aapl and amzn). Still wary cus baba has shown possible months long dips that could tie up my scalping funds 👀 so keeping an eye on it still.

Collect $213 (0.8%) through this action with the same strike of $260. Price is dipping past 2 days and trades around $245 so that gives some upside buffer. The long calls suffered from the drop, but offset partially by the gains from the short calls during this dips period. Hope to stay nimble and trade the volatility accordingly.
