Beyond Tariffs Look Out For Amazon, Alphabet and CoreWeave ?
We have seen how the market react after 4pm ET on Wednesday (02 April), President Donald Trump has announced the implementation of reciprocal tariffs, marking a significant shift in trade policy. A 25% tariff will be imposed on all foreign-made automobiles starting 02 April. Trump argues that these measures will boost competition, reduce prices, and help pay down the national debt. The tariffs are expected to have wide-ranging impacts on international trade and domestic manufacturing. There are also a list of tariffs starting for 10% for multiple U.S. partner, but I think as investors we need to continue to look out for good quality stocks which are showing progress and potential, the market and companies would not stop producing and consumer would continue to use products and services. $PLTR 20250411 80.0 PUT$ PLTR: collect 3% premium for this cash secured put with strike at $80. Contract expires in 2 weeks in 11th April. PLTR seems to find temporary support at $80 and then $75. Willing to accumulate at this level so will start selling puts until assignment. Software based companies are more resilience against tariffs and most of PLTR revenues are from the government and US customers anyway so impact is minimal on coming Tariffs trade war.

The past days often opens high but pulled back towards end day along with the broader market. This covered call May get negative really quickly if today's Tariffs turns out better than Market's expectation. $SMCI VERTICAL 250417 PUT 20.0/PUT 18.0$ Closed out this losing trade to free up equity for the volatility ahead. This trade was also a thorn since it would have panned out ok with the naked short put trade. I panicked and covered with long puts that immediately put this trade at a at least 100% loss in Nov and it became very hard to look at. Emotion management is still a huge lesson which I am humbled every time it happens.
