I actually enjoy working during the holidays period as there are lesser traffic and people, so it is easier to commute to work...when others are busy at work, I will take my off... This way there are lesser congestion and no need to jostle for space at eateries and so on... But for those in regular hours take this time to enjoy with your love ones ? Many people like to plan their getaways during long weekends due to public holidays but I’m the exception. I prefer to travel during off-peak periods as I dread long queues, large crowds and the air fares and accommodation will be cheaper.
