I would not buy the dip blindly, but would be selective in the companies id invest in. Additionally, I would only touch those which I have knowledge on and not FOMO into narratives and news. E.g. I have added to my Microsoft position when SaaSpocalypse happened and confidently held it to this earnings which saw it's sharp reversal once the result proves the market wrong.

Buy the Dip or Run for the Exit? Navigating the Great Tech Recalibration: Structural Shift or Market Bubble? The past month has delivered a brutal reality check across global equity markets. Investors who spent the early part of the year riding the artificial intelligence narrative are now staring at a sea of red. Buying the dip is generally the best strategy to build a strong portfolio. Only caution is to research the fundamentals of the company. Share market has to have hi and low phases and buying your chosen stock during the do is quite rewarding. AI is there to stay and high costs will yield high returns.

#Tech Stocks: Buy the dip or run for exit The biggest new development today is the surprise contraction in US employment, which materially reduced expectations for a September Fed hike and pushed global equities and bonds higher. The S&P 500 closed at a record, while the Nasdaq gained 1.3%. AI-related demand remains visible in memory, cloud infrastructure and data-centre investment. $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$, for example, forecast revenue above expectations because of strong memory demand from AI data centres, even though its shares subsequently sold off as investors focused on valuation and expectations. today’s weak jobs number does not change the structural thesis. By Lawrence G. McMillan A little more than a week ago, the FOMC meeting concluded (on July 29th), and traders were not happy. They sold the market before and after the meeting, closing $SPX that day at 7316. But then a series of events both real and psychological took place that released a buying panic. The net effect of this was that $SPX has broken out to new all- time highs, and has not fallen back below the old highs at 7620. That makes the $SPX chart bullish again, for the first time in a while. Targets are always nebulous things, but this could take $SPX to 8,000 or so. Equity-only put-call ratios have not rolled over to buy signals. As much as $SPX has risen, it has been accompanied by continued buying of puts on stocks. That is for protection most likely. So, even though these put-

AI Stocks: Buy the Dip or Run for the Exit?

The AI Rally Is Being Repriced The recent sell-off in technology stocks has definitely made investors nervous. When names like Micron, $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$  andfall more than 40%–50% from their recent highs, it is easy to ask: Is the AI boom finally coming to an end? Personally, I don't think so. I see this more as a major reset in expectations, valuations and positioning after an exceptionally strong AI rally. The key question is no longer simply whether AI will grow, but which companies can turn massive AI spending into sustainable revenue, earnings and free cash flow. From"Buy AI" to "Prove It” The market has changed significantly. Earlier in the AI rally, almost anything related to semiconductors, data centers or AI infrastructure c

This does not necessarily mean that the AI story is ending. Now the market has moved from asking, “Is AI real?” to asking, “Which companies can convert AI spending into sustainable revenue, profit and cash flow?” AI investment is finally producing measurable returns The latest results from the major cloud companies provide strong evidence that AI capital expenditure is beginning to generate real commercial returns. $Datadog(DDOG)$ exceeded second-quarter expectations and raised its annual outlook, yet the shares plunged 19.1%. 📉 Tech Stocks: Buy the Dip or Run for the Exit? The recent tech selloff has definitely shaken investor confidence. With KOSPI plunging 43.9%, ChiNext falling 27.9% and the Nasdaq dropping 10.2%, the question is no longer simply whether AI is the future. The real question is: How much of that future has already been priced into today’s stock valuations? 🤔 Some of the biggest AI-related names have been hit especially hard. Micron fell 41.2%, SanDisk 57.6% and SpaceX 52.6% according to the campaign figures. That kind of drawdown makes it tempting to either panic-sell or aggressively buy the dip. Personally, I think neither extreme is the right approach. I see this more as an AI valuation reset than the end of the AI cycle. 🤖 AI demand is still real — but expectations have changed One of the b

[思考]  Navigating the Tech Pullback: Structural AI Boom or Bubble Bursting? The recent global equity sell-off has left tech investors standing at a critical juncture. Over the past month, we have witnessed sharp drawdowns across major global indices and technology names: South Korea’s KOSPI plunged -43.9%, the ChiNext Index declined -27.9%, and even the Nasdaq shed -10.2%. Semiconductor and hardware heavyweights took an even severe hit, with Micron falling -41.2%, SanDisk dropping -57.6%, and private valuations such as SpaceX scaling back -52.6%. This severe correction has reignited a fierce market debate: Are we witnessing the popping of an AI-driven valuation bubble, or is this a prime buy-the-dip opportunity within an ongoing long-term secular bull market? The Bull Case: Str

By Lawrence G. McMillan A little more than a week ago, the FOMC meeting concluded (on July 29th), and traders were not happy.

Lower Treasury yields actually improve financing conditions for large data

Buying the dip is generally the best strategy to build a strong portfolio. Only caution is to research the fundamentals of the company. Share market has to have hi and low phases and buying your chosen stock during the do is quite rewarding. AI is there to stay and high costs will yield high returns.
