πŸ“ˆ Volatility is your friend in option trading!

Yesterday I was down with flu symptoms πŸ€’, so while resting at home I spent quite some time watching financial channels on YouTube.

I decided to dig deeper into $Bloom Energy Corp(BE)$

At 9:30 PM Singapore time, the US market opened πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ and I noticed that BE was actually the worst performing stock on my watchlist.

I thought: Why not? 😏

Before going to sleep, I sold two PUT options on BE and placed a buyback order at a lower price, hoping it would trigger overnight while I was sleeping. 😴

BE bounced back a little from the lows, but my buyback order didn't trigger.

Fast forward to today… πŸš€

The market opened, and guess what?

BE was suddenly at the top of my list, recovering yesterday's losses. πŸ“ˆπŸ”₯

So I went back in and closed my PUT options for a nice profit. πŸ’°

One day. Good money. Sometimes we're lucky. πŸ€

And that's perfectly OK.

Not every trade needs to be a home run. Sometimes volatility creates an opportunity, you take the profit, and you simply celebrate the win. πŸ₯‚πŸ˜Ž

Tomorrow is another day and another market. πŸ˜‰

Cheers, and happy trading! πŸ»πŸ“ˆ
