CRWD has a more structural opportunity. As AI agents multiply, companies need to secure more identities, endpoints and automated actions. If that translates into sustained ARR growth, the theme could extend well beyond the current AI enthusiasm.
The main risk is valuation. A strong secular story does not automatically make the stock cheap.
For energy, I would watch whether oil prices and refining margins stay elevated. For CRWD, I would watch whether agentic-AI security produces meaningful incremental revenue. New highs matter less than whether earnings can keep catching up with prices.
