🛡️ THE CYBERSECURITY TRIO TO WATCH
AI might be slowing down.
Cyber threats aren’t.
That’s why cybersecurity has suddenly become one of the most interesting corners of the market. Recent sessions saw CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet all surge as investors focused on the growing security risks associated with AI and increasingly connected systems
Three names stand out to me:
The platform play.
PANW is pushing beyond traditional network security into cloud, endpoint and AI-powered security. Its fiscal 2026 revenue reached $3.41B in Q4, up 34% year over year, while next-generation security ARR reached $9.1B.
🟢 $CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.(CRWD)$
The endpoint and cloud-security heavyweight.
CrowdStrike continues expanding its Falcon platform across endpoint, cloud, identity and security operations. It has also been one of the strongest-performing names in the sector recently, hitting a record high during the September cybersecurity rally.
The network-security specialist.
Fortinet remains heavily exposed to firewalls and network security, while expanding into areas such as SASE. Its recent earnings showed 41% adjusted EPS growth, with revenue reaching $2.05B.
What makes this sector interesting to me is the AI paradox:
🤖 AI creates new attack opportunities
🛡️ Companies need stronger defences
💰 Security spending becomes harder to cut
📈 Cybersecurity companies potentially benefit from both sides of the AI transformation
But I wouldn’t treat all three as the same trade.
PANW = platform consolidation
CRWD = cloud/endpoint security
FTNT = network infrastructure
Three different ways to play the same structural theme.
The question I’m watching now:
Is this just a short-term cybersecurity rotation — or the beginning of a bigger shift in where investors want to put their money? 👀
Which one is on your watchlist?
