🌟🌟🌟Next week, the Magnificent 3 - Microsoft, Alphabet and Meta Platforms step into the earnings arena.  It is not just about numbers.  It is about narrative.  The key focus will be on the growth and profitability of cloud and AI segments, advertising trends and the financial returns in significant AI investments.

Microsoft $Microsoft(MSFT)$ 

Earnings Report Date :  October 29 2025.

Analyst expectations: Forecasts predict EPS of USD 3.65 to USD 3.66 and revenue of USD 74.96 billion, marking an 11% to 14% YoY increase.  Azure, the cloud computing business is expected to post around 38% to 40% revenue growth.

Key watch factors : Investors will be focused on the returns on Microsoft's substantial AI infrastructure investments and the health of the Azure business, which has previously faced capacity constraints.

Earnings Beat Outlook :  While Microsoft has consistently outperformed earnings estimates, its current Zacks Earnings ESP suggests a less certain outcome for this quarter.

Analysts Expectations : The consensus EPS forecast is USD 6.60 to USD 6.61 and revenue is expected to be between USD 47.5 billion and USD 50.5 billion.  This would be a 21.8% YoY increase.

Key Watch Factors :Following a strong performance in Q2, investors will be monitoring the company's financial health, significant AI investments and any further updates on its AI expansion and capital expenditure. 

Earnings beat outlook: The consensus EPS forecast has slightly increased with analysts raising their yearly forecasts. 

Alphabet 

Earnings report date: October 29 2025.

Analysts Expectations : Analysts expect Q3 EPS to be around USD 2.27 to USD 2.28, a rise of 8% to 15% YoY.  Revenue forecasts range from USD 99.9 billion to USD 100 billion, potentially a new record for Alphabet.  The cloud business is anticipated to have strong revenue growth of 29%.

Key watch factors : The impact of Generative AI on search ad revenue and the performance of the cloud business will be major points of interest.  Commentary from the CFO on cost cutting and hiring will also be important. 

Recent developments : The recent multi billion dollar AI deal with Anthropic is expected to significantly boost Google Cloud sales.

Alphabet: Analysts cite ad recovery, Cloud acceleration and AI integration. 

Microsoft : Azure and Copilot are driving bullish revisions with hyperscaler dominance. 

Meta: Ads, AI and Ray Ban glasses - consumer AI meets immersive ambition. 

Which Big Tech Will Hit New High?

Verdict : Microsoft is poised to break out.  Alphabet has already soared this week.  Microsoft has been range bound for months but analysts believe that next week's earnings could reignite momentum.  Azure is the engine.  AI is the fuel.

Meta has rallied 52% since April and hit an all time high of USD 796 in August.  It is close to breakout territory but needs a strong earnings beat to push higher. 

Nonetheless all 3 tech giants are undeniably on a roll, each carving their own path through the AI frontier.  All are poised to reach new heights in the future.
