🏎️ F1 + Apple’s Hit Movie: Have You Felt F1 Fever In Singapore Yet?
When it comes to F1, Singapore is truly one of a kind—the world’s only night street race, lighting up the city since 2008. This year’s race will roar through town from Sept 26 to Oct 5, and some drivers have already arrived in SG!
And it’s not just the race—there’s plenty happening around the city:
✨ Free viewing spots (yes, you can catch practice/qualifying without tickets!)
✨ Ralph Lauren pop-up with race simulators + AI photo booth
📽️ Meanwhile, F1 fever is going global.
$Apple(AAPL)$ dropped $250M to make F1 The Movie, which has already grossed over $620M worldwide, making it Apple’s most successful original film ever. Critics say it’s the perfect blend of Hollywood storytelling and the billion-dollar F1 spectacle.
So here’s what we’d love to hear from you:
Have you watched Apple’s F1 movie yet? Worth the hype?
Do you believe in the huge commercial potential of F1 as a global IP?
Could this movie mark a turning point for Apple’s streaming and original film business?
And finally—are you heading to the street race or the pop-up events next week?
Weekend vibes—are you a Movie Fan, Racing Fan, or Investor Fan? 😎

From an investment view, F1 as a global IP still has plenty of upside. The sport’s growing in the US and Asia, with young fans coming in via streaming, social media, and now movies. For Apple, this could be the turning point—proving it can deliver blockbuster hits while boosting Apple TV+ subs.
For Singapore race week, I’m soaking in the vibes. The night race is special, and even outside the track, free viewing spots and pop-ups make the city buzz. Between simulators, AI photo booths, and Marina Bay’s energy, it’s hard not to get swept up. I’d say I’m part Movie Fan, Racing Fan, and Investor Fan this weekend.

While I cannot understand the craze of watching cars racing around the track, I am sure many appreciate it and enjoy the thrill of watching the race. It is also a sport for many racers and money making tool for many of these companies. It is evident that F1 has huge economic value to the host countries as well. We cannot deny the commercial potential of F1 as a global IP.
I think I won’t be heading to the street race or pop-up events. As someone who doesn’t enjoy crowds much, I might be avoiding those areas instead[Facepalm]. @Fenger1188 @HelenJanet @Success88 @Kaixiang @LuckyPiggie @Universe宇宙 @DiAngel @Wayneqq @SPOT_ON @SR050321 come join
Formula 1 or F1 isn't just a sport anymore. It is evolving into a global entertainment and luxury brand. F1 recently signed a 10 year deal with LVMH worth USD 150 million per season.
If Apple's F1 movie is a winner, this could be the start of Apple's foray into the entertainment business. It would be a new source of revenue for Apple and at the same time promote the Apple brand and pro ducts.
I believe that the F1 presence in Singapore and the only night racing event would help promote Singapore as a worthwhile holiday destination and bring in much needed revenue for our local hotels, shops and more.
It is certainly an exciting time to be in Singapore.

✅ Have you watched Apple’s F1 movie yet? Worth the hype?
Yes—I’ve watched it, and it definitely lived up to expectations. The cinematography and intensity pulled me right into the driver’s seat. Apple managed to capture not just the sport, but the energy and spectacle behind it.
🌍 Do you believe in the huge commercial potential of F1 as a global IP?
Without a doubt. F1 is more than racing—it’s innovation, storytelling, and global culture all rolled into one. The commercial opportunities span beyond media into sponsorships, luxury branding, fan engagement, and tourism.
Yes. Apple has been known for prestige content, but this feels like its first true “event film” that can capture mainstream attention globally.
🏎️
I wouldn’t miss it. Experiencing F1 live on the streets—whether at the race or the fan pop-ups—is a thrill that goes beyond the screen.
