The 5 Costly Mistakes section was a revelation, teaching me how misjudging a trade—like expecting the stock to exceed $100—limits upside. This insight prevented me from diving in unprepared, boosting my confidence to trade more strategically.
Inspired by the 10 Options Masters interviews to focus on stocks I believe in, the Covered Call fits perfectly. I’m excited to join this event, share my photo, and connect with others—hoping to win an Options Strategy Mouse Pad to stay motivated!

My biggest struggle? Knowing which strikes are safe, when to roll, and how to avoid getting stuck in bad trades. Everyone online says “just follow the Wheel,” but no one explains the real risks — like assignment traps or capital getting tied up.
I haven’t read the Handbook yet, but I hope it breaks all this down clearly. I want to trade with confidence, not confusion
Learning to roll my option, looking at the entry price and the expiry date and more! I like to learn a lot more and have been trying to get more coin to redeem the book.
Will be nice to win it now so I can even explore more!

most painful lesson is from holding long dated AAPL Call@220 vs near dated calendar options. Approaching maturity, I confused trading with investing and ignored a strong intuitive sense to close them when price was pushing 250. I wanted to exercise them, thinking 220 would be a bargain. then the tariffs happened and the rest is history.
