Aug 2025 update: Cast Wider Net in HK Stocks
August 2025 profits increased by $17,000, a 3.4% gain. I recorded dividends of $23,000, with $16,000 already received in my account this year.
Both Singapore and Hong Kong dividend stocks performed well in August, driven by the anticipation of a US Federal Reserve rate cut.
I believe the Hong Kong stock market is in the early stages of a bull run. Hong Kong index ETFs are reasonably priced and not in bubble territory. Many small and medium enterprises listed in Hong Kong remain undervalued.
August is a busy earnings season. I closely monitored company interim results and profit warnings. I added several stocks with solid foundations and decent dividend yields to my portfolio, along with a few undervalued Hong Kong tech stocks.
