New ETFs with a Twist: 2x Upside, 1x Downside. Is This the Future of Leveraged Investing?
New Twist on Single-Stock ETFs!

2) Nvidia (NVDO)
3) Coinbase (COIO)
4) Palantir (PLOO)
5) Microsoft (MSOO)
Thinking of investing in hot US stocks but wary of high-leverage risks? A new type of single-stock ETF has just hit the market, offering investors an interesting new option.
These ETFs are called "Capped Accelerated ETFs," and they use a clever options strategy to give you 2x the upside when a stock goes up, but with a cap on the gains (currently around 10%). The best part? When the stock goes down, you only suffer 1x the loss—there's no leverage amplifying the downside.
This is different from traditional leveraged ETFs in a few key ways:
Timeframe: Returns aren't calculated daily, but over a full month, from the beginning to the end.
Capped Gains: There's a ceiling on how much you can gain, currently around 10%.
Downside Protection: Downside losses are not leveraged, so you only lose 1x the stock's drop.
The issuer, Themes, has launched five of these ETFs for some of the most popular stocks:
This opens up some new possibilities for traders. For example, if a stock suddenly drops mid-month, you could potentially buy in and wait for the 2x leveraged gains to kick in by the end of the month, all while knowing your downside risk is limited to 1x.
Keep in mind, these ETFs are brand new, so their performance over time is still unproven. If you're interested, it's a good idea to do your own research before jumping in.
