I’m extremely confident the current price action in $TSLA is an engineered liquidity drain, not a true breakdown. While retail panic sets in, the charts, macro, and fundamentals are aligning for the next major upside phase. The stock closed at $312.05, down –2.19%, but the internals tell a different story.

RSI(6) is deeply oversold at 23.25. RSI(12) and RSI(24) remain at 33.76 and 41.53, respectively: classic coil compression. MACD: DIF –0.9638, DEA –0.1579, Histogram –1.6118. A bullish reversal setup is forming. The 4H chart confirms this with Bollinger and Keltner Bands narrowing around $311.80, while EMA clusters tighten across $311–$316. The setup screams volatility expansion.

Zooming into the 1M chart, price is testing SMA200 ($320.45), SMA100 ($318.59), and SMA325 ($321.83), all sitting on a major AVWAP anchor. Point of Control at $321 is key; if Tesla holds above this, the bear narrative collapses. Price zones to watch: downside targets at $314, $312, and worst case $304. Resistance stacks at $325, $328, $330, and $332. Above $332, we unlock $353 and $375.

I am interpreting the weekly trend with conviction: since April’s breakout, $TSLA has never closed below the 50-week SMA (currently $310.15). This week’s candle wicked down to $311.50 and bounced, another defended higher low.

Most analysts are still behind the curve. Wolfe Research just reiterated a Hold rating, but crucially highlighted that Tesla’s value is shifting from autos to AI, autonomy, and robotics. Live job listings back that up. Tesla’s robotaxi fleet is now confirmed to be expanding into nine new cities and four more states, including:

• Palo Alto, CA

• Brooklyn, NY

• Houston & Farmer’s Branch, TX

• Tempe, AZ

• Henderson, NV

• Tampa, Clermont, & Miami, FL

Web data confirms Tesla is actively hiring vehicle operators in San Diego, Fremont, and Jacksonville, indicating even wider rollout. Elon Musk’s latest statement says the fleet will become open to private vehicle owners in 2026, with Tesla targeting half of the U.S. population by year-end 2025.

Importantly, Tesla is gathering real-world data under commercial FSD licenses using safety drivers. This leapfrogs regulatory lag while turbocharging the Dojo neural network. In fact, according to Reuters (31Jul25), Tesla has already launched human-driven ride-hailing in San Francisco. But the CPUC confirms that Tesla has not yet applied for driverless ride permits in California. The game plan: operate within the rules, until the rules catch up.

The disconnect here is staggering. Tesla is still +50% below its ATH, yet leads in AI, robotaxis, and humanoid robotics. Wolfe’s report points out that Tesla could benefit from a “decade-plus tech cycle” on par with the PC and cloud revolutions. Markets are bleeding it now, before they reverse the price.
