$iPath Series B S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures ETN(VXX)$ I opened $iPath Series B S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures ETN(VXX)$ ,VXX: bought in additional shares of VXX at $50 as part of cash secured put that expired in the money on 11th July. VXX trades at $45.20 so is taking some paper loss on this trade even after premium collection. Nevertheless decides not to roll out the trades as I'm ok to hold the long VXX shares as part of my hedge to the long positions. VXX tend to spike during period of volatility when market turns bearish, so I'll be looking for opportunities to offload these shares when it occurs. In the meantime, will be selling covered calls at holding average of $50 or higher strikes to collect premiums to offset the decays on these holdings.
