$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ $Direxion Daily TSLA Bull 2X Shares(TSLL)$ $GraniteShares 1.25X Long TSLA Daily ETF(TSL)$ 🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🔥🚀 The Tesla 2025.20.6.1 software update has been detected. It is expected to roll out to owners in 🦘🇦🇺🌏 Australia and 🇳🇿🇳🇿New Zealand.

Release notes:

✅ Security Improvements

✅ Minor fixes

✅ Automatic opening of charge port door at Supercharger [undocumented]

Oi, Kiwis your Tesla just got a glow-up and it’s actually kinda mean as.

This 2025.20 update chain is rolling out across Aotearoa now, and lowkey, it’s packing more stealth upgrades than a flatmate doing the dishes without being asked. If you haven’t got it yet, don’t stress, Tesla rolls these out slower than the queue at Macca’s on a Friday night.

Let’s break down the goodies in the boot, shall we?

🎥 Wider Camera Views [Model Y]

You can now toggle your reverse cam between narrow and wide views like a boss. Side cams got a size upgrade too, so no more guessing whether you’ll curb your mags pulling out of the Mitre 10 carpark.

👶 Kiddo Alert System [Europe only for now]

For new Model 3s in Europe, if you leave a tamariki in the car, it’ll start flashing, honking, and pinging your phone till you come back. Mad safety feature. Hoping this one makes it here soon. We rate it.

⚡ Charge Port Door = Self-Opening

At Superchargers, the port now opens by itself. No more juggling the charger with your oat flat white in one hand and your car key in the other. It’s a lowkey flex, but such a good one.

🔐 Security Stuff, Stacked

All 3 updates are absolutely jammed with security fixes. No detail, but let’s be honest — the less chance your ride gets cyber-yeeted, the better.

📱 Live Supercharging Stats (iPhone + Apple Watch)

Now showing your charging progress live on your phone or watch as soon as you plug in. It’s slick. You can duck into the dairy for a Powerade and still keep tabs like a pro.

🎮 Dashcam + Sentry Mode Buffs

You can now delete multiple clips at once, and toggle cam views on the fly. Also, blind spot cam stays up while driving gd for dodging e-scooters, possums, or rogue supermarket trolleys.

🛻 Drive Warning If Ya Boot’s Open

New pop-up alert if you try to shift gears with your boot up. Handy if you’re half-asleep or just finished unloading the weekend surf gear and forgot to close it.

🧠 Fleet Average Speed in Energy App

This is lowkey clever. It shows the average speed other Teslas are doing on your route, so you can plan for better energy usage. Real MVP for roadies up north.

🔊 Noise Recording (Service Mode Plus)

If your Tesla’s got Intel Atom or Ryzen chips, you’ve now unlocked audio diagnostics. Finally track down what’s rattling and confirm it’s not just your gym shaker bottle in the back.

🟠 Orange Dot = Listening

There’s now a subtle orange indicator when your car’s listening for voice commands. Nice for those “hey Tesla” moments where you weren’t sure if it heard you or was just giving you the silent treatment.

🔓 Unplug Shortcut (Europe)

Over in Europe, you can now unplug the charger by pulling the rear left door handle for 3 seconds. Not here yet, but fingers crossed it crosses the ditch soon sounds like a handy little trick.

🎧 Audio Bus Panel (Service Mode)

This one’s for the techy types. New A2B panel gives better visibility into Tesla’s internal audio system. Great for the curious, or the guy on YouTube trying to install 9 subs in the frunk.

🇺🇸 And Elon’s back teasing the timeline again…

He’s just confirmed he’s “thinking” about building a solar Gigafactory in the US. That’s the second time this week. Might sound casual, but if Elon’s “thinking,” there’s probably already blueprints on his kitchen bench next to a cold burrito.

Final thoughts from Q, direct from a rainy Auckland Supercharger bay:

Not gonna lie, this update’s clean. Tesla’s clearly in their “small details, big vibe” era and I’m here for it. From smarter charge handling to camera clarity and new stealth features, 2025.20 is the kind of update that doesn’t shout, it just works.

If you’re still waiting on the rollout, be patient it’ll hit your ride soon. And when it does, drop your fav upgrade below. Personally? I’m all about that port-door auto open. It’s giving luxury meets lazy meets efficiency. Dream combo.

Would love to see:

✅ Auto boot close from the app

✅ Custom voice trigger (imagine yelling “Oi!” and the car listens)

✅ EV-specific Spotify blend playlists with charge % synced BPM (alright that one’s a reach but imagine)

Chur for reading catch you in the charge lane.
