$PropNex(OYY.SI)$ is Singapore's largest listed real estate agency with over 12,000 real estate salespersons. From its humble beginnings in 1999, Propnex has become a trusted name with a reputation for service excellence. Propnex stands for Property Network for Excellence.
Apart from providing brokerage services, Propnex also offers consultancy services via its several strategic business units. They are Project Marketing, Investment Sales, Valuation Department, Corporate Leasing and Auction Department.
Propnex reported SGD 40.9 million net profit in FY 2024. The last quarter ended 31 December 2024 saw a significant rebound in private new home launches with developers selling 3,420 units which is more than triple the 1,092 units sold in the preceding quarter.
Propnex expects a strong FY 2025 performance. This can be attributed to a positive market outlook for 2025 with developers expected to launch about 13,000 new units, almost doubling the supply from 2024.
To commemorate its 25th Anniversary, Propnex has proposed a final dividend of 3 cents for 2H2024 and a special dividend of 2.5 cents per share. The Total Dividend for FY 2024 is 7.75 cents per share - the highest since its listing. The current dividend yield of Propnex is 4.82%. Propnex will go ex dividend in April 25, 2025 with a payment date of May 8 2025.
I like Propnex as it has a wide moat due to its huge sales agents network. In land scarce Singapore, I believe that Propnex has exponential growth ahead.
