🎁Are You The One Who Give Away Money in Stock Market?

In the stock market, there are always winners and losers. But it seems like I'm the only one who's constantly giving away money.

  • When the market drops, I buy puts at a high price, but the market rise afterward.

  • When I see it rising, I buy calls, and then the market retraces.

  • At that point, I buy puts again, and suddenly the market skyrockets into a bull market.

It feels like everything I do is to miss out on big gains and give away money to others.

yup, sounds familiar... sometimes you win, sometimes you lose... as long as your win is more than losing, and have a good profit, I think that should consider a win [Grin] [Grin] [Grin]

Investing in the stock market can be challenging, and it's not uncommon to feel frustrated when your trades don't go as planned. However, it's important to remember that the stock market is influenced by various factors, including economic conditions, investor sentiment, and market trends. Here are a few suggestions to help improve your investment experience:

Educate Yourself: Take the time to learn about fundamental and technical analysis, market trends, and investment strategies. This knowledge will help you make more informed decisions and increase your chances of success.

Develop a Strategy: Create a well-defined investment strategy based on your financial goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon. Stick to your strategy and avoid making impulsive decisions based on short-term market fluctuations.

Diversify Your Portfolio: Spread your investments across different asset classes, sectors, and geographic regions. Diversification can help reduce risk and protect your portfolio from the impact of individual stock movements.

Set Realistic Expectations: Understand that the stock market goes through cycles of ups and downs. Avoid chasing quick profits or trying to time the market. Instead, focus on long-term growth and stay committed to your investment plan.

Stay Informed: Keep up with market news, economic indicators, and company-specific developments. This information can help you make more informed investment decisions and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Consider Professional Advice: If you're struggling to navigate the stock market, consider seeking guidance from a financial advisor or investment professional. They can provide personalized advice based on your individual circumstances and help you make more informed investment decisions.

Remember, investing in the stock market involves risk, and there are no guarantees of success. It's essential to conduct thorough research, manage your risk, and make decisions based on your own financial situation and investment goals.

Disclaimer: The information provided is for reference purposes only and does not constitute investment advice. Investing in the stock market involves risk, including the potential loss of principal. Always do your own research and consider your risk tolerance before making any investment decisions.

On the whole, my investments in the stock market yielded a positive return. However, there were instances when stock prices experienced declines and I chose to hold onto my positions rather than selling.

Hmmm, for newbies having this feeling is normal as you are trading with the mindset of chasing the market with the crowd. Your emotion affects you  and the big brothers wipe away newbies in the market.

Therefore, you must remain resilience in the volatile market and only invest stocks with fundamental strong financial and industrial moat. And to buy them at their intrinsic value during market dips.

May the market be with you.

I bet many of Tiger investors have been in these experiences. For me, indeed, yes. 5 min to summarize my neophyte experience.

When I was a newbie with Tiger Brokers, I was wondering if should I or not.. The question: WHY do I open the account for? The answer: Let monies grow. The Remedy: Took up course. Understand myself. (Empty your mind, be formless like water.) Take action 🎬 .   Put skill into good use. (Knowing is not enough, we must apply) Not afraid of setbacks.

To my pov, I am either or, as newbie investor. Now, 30%/70% as current investor. Most paramountance, do homework prior to putting your hard-earned monies work. If you want to make 'passive' income, then put effort.  Next, knowing your WHY, then your purposes would be gravitating. Like, share & and follow to see my postings. All the best to Tiger Investors in your investment 👍  Join me  @vodkalime  @GoodLife99  @多鱼先生   [Heart] [Salute] [ShakeHands] Thank you to  @Meme_Tiger for this event [Cool] [love you] [Like]

in my this 1st month in US trading, i hope I can earn enough for a family holiday trip for year end.
After 1st week, I said maybe just get myself a macbook pro
2nd week, I said maybe just get myself a new ipad.
now 4th week's over, I "lost" an iPad pro..

seems earn low and lose more...

any good advise for me, Tiger?

Yes. When drop to bottom, I buy put.. It u turn. When rise up, I buy call, it clashes.

Yesterday best, buy call, stock dip.... N had sell call with stock, the price crash thru the coverage.

Of course buy call all went hopeless n worthless.

[Facepalm] brought up history 😭.... Yes...Gave money 💰 [Cry]...Well..I turn my mindset that 'What I gave is temporary! Must Feed the Market till its Full, then I will Get Back my Money 💰 with Exponential Returns" [Miser] [Miser] [Miser]. I'm slowly and steady seeing my Returns 😁 With constant reviewing of each trades, I will improve [serious]!

what a déjà vu feeling. The market seems to able to read my mind and ensure it goes opposite of my action. Really playing with human mind and anyone not resilience enough will go mental hospital soon. Keep calm.

Had these moments but emotion never  gets the best of me. I am emotionless when I'm making moves I am not affected. The market doesn't care it just is and this is how I am. if I win if not then I don't. I have a strategy that is mandatory. Diverting from it is non negotiable.

Stock market is all about psychological and emotions, if you remove these two aspects, trade logically, there will be more winners than losing. Its a mindgame after all.

I am now definitely giving away money to others in the stock market. When i saw $Intel(INTC)$ rising, I buy calls, and then the market retraces. It feels like everything I do is to miss out on big gains and give away money to others.
