$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ Different kind of manipulation than the usual, with probing raids on MU (not holding it directly, but I did pick up MUU a few weeks back during the deep dips) that just wouldn't buckle. A much more serious raid on SNDK (again, no direct position, but I grabbed several thousand SNXX in the 9s to 11s, and foolishly didn't trim any at 19 a couple of weeks ago), which was clearly manufactured, and the recovery in SNDK and SNXX was genuinely impressive. NVDA never played along with the script the SOXL/SOXS manipulators had set for it. There was clearly a lot of effort put into driving things down recently. The SNXX action was hilariously entertaining, worth a look
$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ 117.11Up 1.43, or 1.3%, and really moving now. It covered almost the entire day session range from the 112.25 low, then rallied $5 through VWAP to the top of the range. I wish I had bought more on the VWAP break. I keep getting fooled by how slow it trades during the day, and I wasn't expecting this kind of move, but it's nice to see. Trimming some here and holding some in case it wants to push toward 120 tonight.
$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ A lot of self-proclaimed experts keep telling people to sell semis. I have been around this market longer than at least 80 percent of them. Bubbles can run much longer and much further than most expect. I think new highs are coming by December-March. There will probably be at least one more big volatility pullback along the way, but this is not over yet.
$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ 116.91SKHY up 5.76, or 5.2%, and it is running hard into the close again, which is dragging the other memory chip names higher with it. DRAM and related 2X ETFs are moving up faster than SOXL. That was the best overnight play, but I am not a fan of the memory chip stocks themselves, and I would rather just use them to trade SOXL. SKHY has added $9 during the overnight session to $159.78, and it looks like it has its own short squeeze going. It initially dropped on news that it could not reach a wage deal with workers, but that turned out to be a bear trap, because it has been rallying hard since then. The overnight session has been much better than the day session for chips.
