Every single time. Steady climb bouncing off the 20 EMA on the 1-minute chart for a long stretch, then selling off through the whole session right down to about $1-5 above where the overnight move opened. What is actually going on here.

If it can hold above 155, this could turn into the breakout. MU posted adjusted earnings of $33.42 per diluted share, beating the $31.16 analyst consensus. Revenue came in at $54.23 billion, above the $50.45 billion estimate. Fourth quarter adjusted gross margin improved to 87.0% from 84.9% in the prior quarter. Adjusted operating income rose to $44.64 billion from $33.68 billion, and adjusted net income climbed to $38.40 billion from $28.86 billion. MU also guided first-quarter results above expectations. The company sees first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $61.5 billion, plus or minus $1.5 billion, versus the $56.77 billion consensus. Adjusted EPS is expected at $38.15, plus or minus $1.00, also ahead of the $36.02 analyst estimate. The outlook points to continued strength in AI-related demand. $Micron Technol

Retail and institutional short sellers who sold the late-day dip are now caught off guard by this $144.60 gap up. When the regular session opens, those shorts will likely be forced to buy back shares to limit losses. If buying volume stays dominant, SOXL has an open air pocket to run straight to $148.00, which would pave the way for a swift move back toward the $150.00 level later this week.
