$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ OCT30 270C, still actionable. Zone: $261.66 to $265.34 Invalidation: close under $255.22 Objectives: $280, then $287.20 The math: up 6.3% to the first objective and 9.0% to the second, against 3.1% risk on the invalidation, about 2.9 to 1 to the second. Amazon quietly climbed back to a one-month high while most people were watching other names. It sits near $263.50, up about 3.9% in a month, with buyers holding the $255.22 low from Monday and pressing toward the high. The floor is close and plain to see. Earnings on October 29 will give this move its real test, with room first toward $280 and then toward the $287.20 high from August. A close under $255.22 says the climb failed and you step aside. Watching $265.34 today. It
New call: QCOM. At Thursday's close of $176.01, $Qualcomm(QCOM)$ was sitting 4.8% above its 200-day moving average after a TD-style buy setup count of 9. That average is rising, but only just, up about 1% over the last 20 sessions, so the trend underneath is thin. The stock is also 29% below its 52-week closing high. The fundamental hook here is the Amazon angle. $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ holds a warrant for up to 25 million Qualcomm shares that vest as it commits to, orders, and buys Qualcomm's server chips, and 3.75 million had vested by Sep 28. A hyperscaler's equity upside tied to Qualcomm's data-center push. Next test is fiscal Q4 results on Nov 4, after the close. The call goes on the public tr
$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ Prime Day kicked off ahead of the upcoming Prime ad. I picked up some pretty good deals already. Plenty of shoppers are likely to start Christmas shopping early, hunting for 50-70% off in the coming days. That kind of activity usually gives the stock a little nudge toward $255.
$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ A drop to the 200 SMA at 241.36 and the 240 level would fill the July gap. Downward gap fills usually get bought. The middle Bollinger Band at 251.64 and the 50 SMA at 256.54 are the key levels that need to turn into support. Once candles are forming above and support is confirmed, a new uptrend could begin. $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ $SPDR S&P Retail ETF(XRT)$
$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ Rosenblatt raised its Amazon price target to $360 from $335 and kept a Buy rating. The firm pointed to concern that personal agents and AI shopping assistants could displace Amazon's retail media model as they compress the discovery and purchase funnel. Rosenblatt argues that risk is overstated, calling the narrative false and noting this is not the first time Amazon has faced pressure from secular changes in consumer behavior. The firm also raised its long-term estimates, saying it has conviction Amazon can navigate this transition largely unaffected even if the advertising model changes.
$Amazon.com(AMZN)$ Early usage for Meta MUSE looks focused on life task management. Commerce is under 10%, though that should expand as trust builds. The e-commerce and fulfillment moat doesn't really work without Amazon. The ads side is where I'm watching closely, but there's still plenty of time to keep the ads business running through other channels.
