In my view, it's not just the company but the culture in the people. China has been in existence far longer than the U.S. has been. it has been invaded by so many foreign powers in its history yet at the end of the day, the country ememerges and has become stronger than before. this is ingrained in the DNA of its people, truncated to its companies Albeit there are some black sheeps so as other countries companies. I have no doubt these stocks are a steal currently. I concur with your view on these 3 compabies. I own stocks two out of these 3.
$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ Nvidia has overtaken Apple as the world's largest company, CEO has asked HBM for 6-months pre-supply of chips, with fundamentals so strong it doesn't make sense the direction of todays market. I believe it is biased to market sentiments due to elections, I will buy the dip.
It's depends on your investment strategy and what stocks you are holding. All of my stocks are at net loss but I'm playing the long game as these stocks are currently. We are at the time of speculative trading, unless I need to liquidate to recover cash, my strategy would be to keep my portfolio until the stock hits its right valuation.
My thoughts are that most of the divergence are driven by Geo-political influences and the impact they have to other countries. We can thinknof this as Chinese Tech stocks are undervalued or US tech stocks are overvalued. Eventually how do we actuslly put value to a stock? if we think from an financial and economics standpoint China and the US situation is inverse to their tech stock performance ... what are your thoughts?
Alibaba and its affiliates are in for the long game. All their actions are geared towards development and growth of the company. The mgmt isn't concerned with the macro situation because they are very focused on their objectives and this shows how determined they want to move the company forward past the current speed bump.
Buy stocks with strong fundamentals and undervalued. Be patient, and wait for the long game. Dont react to sudden market movements. Have a clear and self convinced exit strategy.
Depends on what those stocks are purchased for, shorting the market I can understand the need to bail, China still has strong fundamentals, and the drive this year is to grow the economy - mostly likely without the US market - which no love lost as US market is not looking positive anyways. For the long haul, this might bea great opportunity to leverage these companies prices.
