appears on stage with Made-in-Texas Model YAustin will be highest volume car factory in U.S., Musk saysThe new Tesla Giga Texas manufacturing facility on April 6.Photographer: Suzanne Cordeiro/AFP/Getty ImagesElon Musk threw an elaborate party for more than 15,000 people Thursday night in the U.S. to celebrate Giga Texas,Tesla Inc.’s newest factory in Austin, Texas, and the company’s rapid expansion. The “Cyber Rodeo” featured art installations including a Tesla coil, multiple stages and a sea of Texas-made Model Y sport utility vehicles, arranged to look like the Texas state flag. Tesla’s chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen, appeared on stage with Musk and the forthcoming Cybertruck, which will go into production next year. The event kicked off with hundreds of drones flying in formation against the night sky, aligning to form shapes including the Cybertruck and a Shiba Inu dog.“Welcome to Cyber Rodeo,” said Musk, who wore dark sunglasses and a black cowboy hat on stage. “We’re going to talk about past, present and future.”Musk said that 2022 is all about growing in scale, while 2023 will bring new products to market, including the Cybertruck, Semi and next generation Roadster. The $1 billion factory, which is larger than the U.S. Pentagon, is critical to Tesla’s expansion. The company has been operating near capacity at its Fremont, California, plant since the heady days of 2018, when it erected a giant tent in the parking lot to boost output of the Model 3 sedan and ran out of room. The carmaker’s furious growth over the last two years is largely thanks to a factory outside Shanghai in China. Giga Texas will make the Model Y crossover vehicle and the Cybertruck.“It will be the highest volume car factory in the U.S.,” said Musk. It also has the potential of becoming the world’s biggest battery cell factory, he added.“We need a place where we can be really big, and there’s no place like Texas,” he said, to raucous cheers from the crowd. After Musk’s remarks, fireworks lit up the night sky to the strains of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5.The party drew scores of fans. Actor Harrison Ford was spotted in the VIP lounge, along with Musk’s mother Maye and brother Kimbal Musk, who also serves on Tesla’s board of directors.Several fans showed up at the strobe-lit factory in the hopes of getting in at the last minute but were turned away by Tesla security.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TSLA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2314,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9016166553,"gmtCreate":1649151374503,"gmtModify":1676534459659,"author":{"id":"3579425512905776","authorId":"3579425512905776","name":"Sfun","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/677878018d08b9f3288b2153431bff4a","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3579425512905776","idStr":"3579425512905776"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"oh","listText":"oh","text":"oh","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9016166553","repostId":"1141762710","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3428,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9018515526,"gmtCreate":1649061004986,"gmtModify":1676534443390,"author":{"id":"3579425512905776","authorId":"3579425512905776","name":"Sfun","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/677878018d08b9f3288b2153431bff4a","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3579425512905776","idStr":"3579425512905776"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"ohnh","listText":"ohnh","text":"ohnh","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9018515526","repostId":"2224730263","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2224730263","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1649041682,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2224730263?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-04-04 11:08","market":"us","language":"en","title":"These 10 EV Stocks Have Plunged -- but They Still Aren't Cheap","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2224730263","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"From Rivian to ChargePoint, these EV stocks are down big off their highs.","content":"<div>\n<p>March was a wild month in the U.S. stock market as investors got a sour, albeit brief, taste of the second Nasdaq Composite bear market in just two years.Electric car stocks and electric vehicle (EV) ...</p>\n\n<a href=\"https://www.fool.com/investing/2022/04/03/these-10-ev-stocks-have-plunged-but-not-cheap/\">Web Link</a>\n\n</div>\n","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; Yet just because a stock is down doesn't necessarily make it cheap.Let's look at some of the most well-known EV automakers and charging stocks -- such as Rivian Automotive ( RIVN -7.56% ) and ChargePoint Holdings ( CHPT -0.91% ) -- to determine a good way to approach the industry right now.Why are EV stocks down? The EV industry -- and the internal combustion engine (ICE) legacy auto industry for that matter -- has been dealing with a slew of supply chain challenges for over a year. But so far, many companies have been successful in raising prices.Kelley Blue Book reports that the average new car price rose by 14% between December 2020 and December 2021 to an average transaction price of $47,077.However, the issue now is that many companies are trying to secure batteries and chips in addition to basic parts and components as they look to divest away from ICEs toward EVs. Virtually every legacy automaker, from Ford Motor Company ( F -1.54% ) and General Motors ( GM -1.78% ) to Toyota and Volkswagen, has set ambitious EV goals. Higher demand makes it harder for pure-play EV newcomers like Rivian and Lucid Group ( LCID -3.35% ) to procure the necessary parts and get vehicles off the assembly line and into customers' hands. Unlike their legacy peers, these newcomers lack the sophisticated supply chain networks, and in many cases, the business relationships and connections needed to navigate a global shortage. It's hard for a new and unproven automaker to attract customers, much less produce and deliver their vehicles, under normal circumstances. Throw in the challenges mentioned, and that task becomes even more daunting. As a result, many companies, including Rivian and Lucid, have slashed their 2022 production targets. Rivian said it could have produced 50,000 vehicles this year but expects to only produce 25,000 units because of supply chain challenges. Lucid reduced its 2022 delivery guidance from 20,000 units to a range of 12,000 to 14,000 units. In sum, the entire industry is digging in for a very challenging 2022, although many companies estimate that the second half of this year will be a lot easier than the first half.Lofty valuationsAside from Ford and GM, all of the pure-play EV automaker and charging stocks are incredibly expensive according to traditional financial metrics.Data by YCharts.Lucid, Rivian, EVgo, and Volta have negligible sales. The least expensive stocks from a price-to-sales (P/S) vantage point are the Chinese automakers, Nio ( NIO 4.18% ) and XPeng ( XPEV 5.80% ). Those companies have their fair share of challenges, but they are further along the production runway than many U.S. companies. However, the risk of Chinese companies delisting from U.S. exchanges adds an additional layer of uncertainty over Nio and XPeng.Despite how expensive these companies look on paper, you could argue that some of them could grow into their valuations over time. Many of these companies are little more than start-ups and need several years to reach profitability. If that happens, then P/S ratios would quickly compress. The case for a basket of EV automakersGiven the industry sell-off, the case for buying a basket of EV automakers could be as simple as believing in increased EV adoption. Ford and GM benefit from profitable existing businesses that can pass along extra cash flow to fund EV investment. Lucid and Rivian have incredibly impressive technology and high demand for their vehicles.Nio and XPeng have already produced and delivered a significant amount of vehicles, with Nio passing the 100,000 production threshold in April 2021 and XPeng following suit in October 2021.The EV charging landscape is a little less competitive in my opinion. ChargePoint sticks out as having the best management, incredible growth numbers, and a winning strategy for capturing market share and growing the business over time. ChargePoint grew revenue by 65% in fiscal 2022 and is guiding for 96% year-over-year revenue growth in fiscal 2023. It also anticipates it will achieve operating cash flow breakeven in fiscal 2025. Unlike the automakers, ChargePoint can succeed with the general tailwinds of the EV industry and doesn't actually care which automakers come out on top so long as the demand for charging grows.High risk for potentially high rewardThe EV industry is bursting with potential -- but it also has its fair share of risk. For that reason, some investors may prefer to wait a few years for some of these prospective companies to mature. As for folks with higher risk tolerance, adding multiple companies to a diversified EV basket is one of the best ways to limit downside risk in case it doesn't work out for a few of these businesses.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2887,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9018150126,"gmtCreate":1649001215232,"gmtModify":1676534434055,"author":{"id":"3579425512905776","authorId":"3579425512905776","name":"Sfun","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/677878018d08b9f3288b2153431bff4a","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3579425512905776","idStr":"3579425512905776"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"buy","listText":"buy","text":"buy","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9018150126","repostId":"2224347218","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2224347218","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1648878635,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2224347218?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-04-02 13:50","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Why AMC Shares Are Down Today","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2224347218","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Its recent gold mine investment isn't going to be a game changer.","content":"<div>\n<p>Its recent gold mine investment isn't going to be a game-changer.What happenedInvestors initially cheered some news this morning from the gold miner AMC Entertainment Holdings invested in earlier this...</p>\n\n<a href=\"https://www.fool.com/investing/2022/04/01/why-amc-shares-are-down-today/\">Web Link</a>\n\n</div>\n","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; But it's been all downhill for AMC's stock the rest of the day so far. As of 12:48 p.m. ET Friday, AMC shares were down 7%.So whatBesides the small bump after Hycroft Mining, which AMC recently invested in, provided investors its full-year 2021 update, AMC stock may also have been riding a wave of enthusiasm from retail investors who were cheering news of a planned stock split for fellow meme stock GameStop. But, of course, that has nothing to do with AMC or its prospects, and investors also probably realized that the enthusiasm from the Hycroft Mining investment was overdone. Now whatTwo weeks ago, AMC announced it was investing $27.9 million in cash for a 22% stake in Hycroft Mining, which owns the more than 70,000-acre Hycroft Mine in northern Nevada. It was part of CEO Adam Aron's plan to use money AMC has raised to diversify and make acquisitions to aid its recovery from pandemic impacts.Hycroft needed the capital infusion to continue to operate its gold and silver mine. Hycroft is a micro-cap company, and its shares have soared more than 50% since AMC's investment. Retail investors have pushed AMC stock up nearly 60% since that time.Hycroft said today that its gold production for the full year 2021 was above its previous estimates while silver production fell short of guidance. The company also raised additional capital from the equity markets on top of the AMC investment.News that the company will remain solvent and has additional funds at its disposal is good for its investors. But AMC's fortunes will not be determined by its relatively small investment in Hycroft. That dose of reality is likely why AMC shares subsequently dropped as the day's trading progressed.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"HYMC":0.9,"AMC":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3307,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9018150089,"gmtCreate":1649001159637,"gmtModify":1676534434051,"author":{"id":"3579425512905776","authorId":"3579425512905776","name":"Sfun","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/677878018d08b9f3288b2153431bff4a","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3579425512905776","idStr":"3579425512905776"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"wawa","listText":"wawa","text":"wawa","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9018150089","repostId":"2224232249","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2224232249","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1648948899,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2224232249?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-04-03 09:21","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Want $2,000 in Passive Income? Meanwhile, the CBOE S&P 500 Volatility Index is down 35%, signaling less fear in the stock market.Investors who are concerned about volatility picking back up and are interested in safe stocks that generate passive income have come to the right place.Investing in equal parts Kinder Morgan, Starbucks, and Clorox stocks gives an investor an average dividend yield of 3.9% and exposure to the energy sector, the consumer discretionary sector, and the consumer staples sector. After a period of five years, an investor could expect a $10,000 investment to earn over $2,000 in passive dividend income. Here's what makes each dividend stock a great buy now.Image source: Getty Images. Kinder Morgan isn't the same company it used to beThe majority of readers may be unfamiliar with Kinder Morgan, which is one of the largest pipeline operators and energy infrastructure companies in North America. But folks that have been investing in oil and gas for seven-plus years may remember when the company cut its dividend by 75%.It's a rocky past that Kinder Morgan is trying to permanently put behind it -- and it's off to a good start. Since the cut, Kinder Morgan's dividend has more than doubled as it seeks to reward shareholders through a dividend supported by cash flow.Kinder Morgan has transformed itself from an aggressive growth strategy to a defensive preservation strategy -- which is bad news for oil and gas bulls but great news for investors looking for a reliable dividend stock. In the past few years, Kinder Morgan has dramatically reduced its spending and paid off debt. Over 90% of its business is tied to stable take-or-pay and fee-based contracts that go years out, which protects against downside risk at the expense of limiting upside potential.Kinder Morgan is unlikely to outperform other oil and gas stocks when prices are rising. But it's also much better positioned to earn strong cash flows in lower price environments as we saw in 2020. Given the stability of its businesses, Kinder Morgan is a worthy high-yield dividend stock worth considering now.Throw some beans into your passive income streamStarbucks often finds itself left out of dividend discussions due to outdated perceptions that the company is still a growth stock. It's not, and it hasn't been for years. The Starbucks of today is a much more boring and stable business. Over the past five years, Starbucks has grown revenue at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of just 6.4%. But over that same period, it grew net income at a CAGR of 8.3% and its dividend at a CAGR of 14.4%.Paying the dividend is a big part of Starbucks' strategy. So much so that the company released its most aggressive dividend and buyback program in company history. In the three-year period between fiscal 2022 and fiscal 2024, Starbucks plans to spend $20 billion on dividends and share repurchases. To put that number into perspective, consider that Starbucks spent a little over $2 billion in fiscal 2021 on dividends.Investors looking for a strong and recognizable brand that is also an excellent dividend stock should look no further than Starbucks.Clorox's dividend is safeClorox has had a rough go of it as of late, and these difficulties are reflected in the company's stock price. After blasting to a fresh all-time high in 2020, share prices of Clorox stock are now hovering around a three-year low and are down over 40% from that high.Clorox's problems all boil down to shrinking profit margins in the face of higher inflation. The company is confident that its brands, such as Clorox, Glad trash bags, Burt's Bees, and Kingsford charcoal are leaders in their respective product categories. But higher costs, higher advertising spending, and supply chain challenges paint an uncertain picture of the quarters to come.In addition to declining margins, Clorox's growth rate could be negative in fiscal 2022 as the company struggles to lap quarters that were less affected by inflation. All told, Clorox is in for a multi-year period of weak growth. The silver lining is that all of this bad news is already public, so new investors considering Clorox now can buy the stock with all of these headwinds already digested by Wall Street. The bull argument for Clorox would be that the company will recover over time, it's a consumer staple company that is resistant to a recession, and it is likely to continue paying and raising its dividend every year. Clorox is a Dividend Aristocrat, which is a member of the S&P 500 that has paid and raised its dividend for at least 25 consecutive years. With a dividend yield of 3.4%, Clorox produces a healthy passive income stream.A hands-off approachKinder Morgan, Starbucks, and Clorox may not have anything in common as companies. But as stocks, all three could be great additions to a diversified portfolio. No matter if the stock market has rebounded and is off to the races -- or if the sell-off gets even worse from here -- investors can take solace knowing that these three companies will produce income without the need to sell stock.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"CLX":0.9,"SBUX":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2746,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9011428719,"gmtCreate":1648911558148,"gmtModify":1676534421120,"author":{"id":"3579425512905776","authorId":"3579425512905776","name":"Sfun","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/677878018d08b9f3288b2153431bff4a","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3579425512905776","idStr":"3579425512905776"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"haha","listText":"haha","text":"haha","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9011428719","repostId":"1197949367","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1197949367","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1648864873,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1197949367?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-04-02 10:01","market":"us","language":"en","title":"LULU Is No Longer My No. 1 Stock Pick – Here’s Why","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1197949367","media":"InvestorPlace","summary":"The fourth-quarter earnings season is coming to a close soon, but there was still a flurry of earnin","content":"<div>\n<p>The fourth-quarter earnings season is coming to a close soon, but there was still a flurry of earnings reports released this week. One such company was Lululemon Athletica, which released its earnings results for its fourth quarter in fiscal year 2021 on Tuesday. All in all, the results were mixed: Lululemon posted earnings of $3.28 per share on revenue of $2.129 billion.Source: Richard Frazier / Shutterstock.comHowever, the company still gained year-over-year for both earnings and revenue, climbing 27% and 23% respectively. “We are proud that we passed the $6 billion in annual revenue milestone for the first time,” CEO Calvin McDonald said of the earnings report. “We are entering the new year from a position of strength, which we’ll build upon to continue delivering for our guests and shareholders in the years to come.”Analysts were expecting earnings of $3.27 per share on revenue of $2.135 billion, so the “athleisure” wear retailer posted a slight earnings surprise and a slight revenue miss. For the first quarter in fiscal year 2022, the company expects earnings of $1.38 to $1.43 on revenue in the range of $1.525-$1.550 billion. For fiscal year 2022, LULU anticipates net revenue to be between $7.490 billion-$7.615 billion, 20% to 22% growth year-over-year. Earnings per share are expected to be between $9.15-$9.35 for the year 2022.The strong guidance was enough to trigger a nice post-earnings pop in LULU shares. Now, I want to discuss Lululemon with you today because I was a big fan of the company a few years ago. LULU had been steadily growing its sales and earnings in 2018, and I expected its momentum to continue in 2019. I was so bullish on the company that I picked it as my stock for the InvestorPlace 10 Best Stocks for 2019 contest. The stock climbed 91% that year… and I walked away as the winner of the contest.Take a look and see how it performed in the chart below. So, it might surprise you to hear that I am not nearly as bullish on the stock today as I was in 2019, despite the fact that Lululemon was a popular COVID-19 pandemic stock. In fact, if you take a look below at my Report Card for LULU, you can see that it earns a “C” rating. So, the stock is a “Hold” right now. In other words, it was a stock worth holding into its earnings report, but not one an investor should be snapping up more shares of right now.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"LULU":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1884,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9011396732,"gmtCreate":1648815171201,"gmtModify":1676534403190,"author":{"id":"3579425512905776","authorId":"3579425512905776","name":"Sfun","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/677878018d08b9f3288b2153431bff4a","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3579425512905776","idStr":"3579425512905776"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"haha","listText":"haha","text":"haha","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9011396732","repostId":"2224316738","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2224316738","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com
