$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bear 3x Shares(SOXS)$ Now that the market is starting to price in the semis trade winding down, the 2027 funding window looks mostly closed. I would buy dips starting at 42, heavier at 38 and below. I still think about my 900 shares at 29.86 that I sold at 39, but I expect another decent dip this week and next.
$Applied Optoelectronics(AAOI)$ The celebratory round of drinks I said I would buy when we reach the 300 price target might be a bit further off than some of us had hoped. I'm still going to keep that offer on the table.
$SK hynix(SKHY)$ How much of a rebound are we looking at on earnings day? I'd say low 170s. This whole dip is a bit of a joke. Some cheap Chinese memory chips for the low end market have no real effect on SK Hynix.
$SpaceX(SPCX)$ Bears are treating a 4% dip like they just stopped the space age. Meanwhile, bulls are loading up on the company building the future of space, satellites, and global connectivity. You got your little pullback. Congratulations. Now imagine being short when this monster wakes up.
$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bear 3x Shares(SOXS)$ I still think 50 is doable within 2 weeks, but anything above that would need catastrophic news. That won't happen because Trump still wants to hold onto this market before midterm.
$SK hynix(SKHY)$ The China scare is way overblown, it's almost comical. China is still at least a year behind in HBM4. No American hyperscaler will buy Chinese HBM, and they wouldn't be allowed to anyway. Margins might compress a little, but the demand is there. A forward PE of less than 5 more than prices in lower margins.
$Applied Optoelectronics(AAOI)$ If you're confused about why this is down today with no reported news, maybe look at the rest of the sector first, and then look up what a high-beta stock means. The company has solid fundamentals and strong growth potential ahead, but it takes some tolerance for volatility. If not, just trade it and deal with the capital gains taxes.
