$Alibaba(BABA)$ When the initial drop from 130 came, I thought we might flush down hard, but it's holding up pretty well. I'd say it could keep pushing higher. During bad weeks in the past, I've seen this drop 20% in a week, but I'm not seeing those kinds of drops anymore.
$Alibaba(BABA)$ The near-term bottom should be around the offering price of $115. These were apparently long funds as well. I see this turning bullish, honestly. We'll see.
$Alibaba(BABA)$ Moonshot AI's new model hit number one on Arena's frontend coding leaderboard just 24 hours after release, placing above OpenAI and Anthropic. That got a lot of attention from investors, researchers, and even policymakers. The conversation quickly moved past just benchmark scores to broader topics like regulation, talent, and overall AI competitiveness.
$Alibaba(BABA)$ It seems AI is hitting a wall with data availability. Companies sitting on vast datasets will have a clear edge going forward. The next phase of AI competition will likely center on data and information access. On that front, Alibaba is in a pretty strong position.
$Alibaba(BABA)$ It hit 116 in Hong Kong before the US futures slide started pulling it down a bit. The 50-day moving average is at 119.5, so it could catch up to that level. $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ is way above its 20-day moving average, though.
$Alibaba(BABA)$ I think Alibaba should be valued at at least twice what Tesla is. It's only a matter of time. Hopefully Tesla doesn't drop too much by then.
$Alibaba(BABA)$ It's no surprise it's tanking in pre-market. There's a 10-year history of Baba dropping after each quarter report. Enjoy the free fall—I did warn this would fall short term. But after the conference call, we should see a spike up. With the ANT announcement by year end, we could breach 205. All these predictions have been correct.
