US economy can withstand tariffs better than most countries (except china) but American has the least tolerance because they have minimum savings , high inflation and bad job numbers - don't trust official job numbers, they will give a good number and walk it back after 2 months blaming "new reporting "- minimum the economists can do to not become part of the statistics in trump's administration and yet keep their integrity for next jobs.
