Asian Stock Markets Decline With Unclear End to Middle East Conflict -- WSJ

Asian equity markets fell early Friday, amid reports of potential deployments of U.S. ground troops and conflicting messages about peace talks.

In Friday morning trading, South Korea's Kospi slid 2.7%, Taiwan's benchmark Taiex index declined 1.6%, and Japan's Nikkei Stock Average fell 1%. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 benchmark index was 0.5% lower.
