Dow Jones01-21 05:40
U.S. stocks fell sharply Tuesday, after President Trump's insistence that the U.S. take control of Greenland reignited fears of a global trade war.
Among U.S. benchmarks, the Nasdaq composite dropped 2.4% and the S&P 500 lost 2.1%. The Dow industrials lost 871 points, or 1.8%, the dollar weakened and Treasury yields rose, with the 10-year touching its highest level since August. -- WSJ Staff
