EU Chief Says Trump's Tariffs Are a Mistake -- WSJ

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said President Trump's additional tariffs on nations that oppose his demand to take control of Greenland were a mistake.

"Arctic security can only be achieved together, this is why the proposed additional tariffs are a mistake, especially between longstanding allies," von der Leyen said during a speech in Davos.

"The European Union and the United States have agreed to a trade deal last July, and in politics, as in business, a deal is a deal. When friends shake hands it must mean something," she said.
