CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower as Trump's Europe tariff threat rattles markets
Jan 19 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened lower on Monday as U.S. President Donald Trump's threat to impose tariffs on eight European countries rattled global markets, while domestic investors assessed key Canadian inflation data.
At 09:32 a.m. ET, the S&P/TSX Composite Index .GSPTSE was down 0.1% at 32,991.06 points.
