ComfortDelGro's (SGX:C52) autonomous vehicle collided with a road driver during a road test on Saturday, according to a report by The Business Times on Sunday.
The company said that the accident occurred while the vehicle was undergoing routine mapping tests, the report noted.
The vehicle identified an object on the road and collided with the road divider when a safety operator took manual control of the vehicle, the report said.
Meanwhile, the company's vehicles will now take a safety timeout, while an internal review takes place, the report added.
