Dow Jones01-14
1040 GMT - U.S. house-builders fall premarket after Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte questioned stock buybacks in the sector in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. "It's something that we're studying, you know, how much money they're spending on buybacks," Pulte said. The comments follow an executive order from President Trump targeting buybacks in the defense sector last Wednesday. D.R. Horton falls 0.9%, while Lennar Corporation drops 1.15%. PulteGroup--which was founded by Bill Pulte's grandfather--slips 0.15%. (josephmichael.stonor@wsj.com)
