路透9月11日 - 一位知情人士周四告诉路透，Paramount Skydance PSKY.O 正准备出价收购华纳兄弟探索公司(Warner Bros Discovery) WBD.O ，这有可能使好莱坞最大的两家电影公司联姻，并为与大型科技公司的流媒体之战做好准备。
华尔街日报援引未具名消息人士的话率先报导了这一消息。
消息传出后，华纳兄弟股价大涨 30%，而Paramount股价大涨 15%。
Paramount未予置评，而华纳兄弟则没有立即回应路透的置评请求。
华尔街日报称，竞购尚未提交，计划仍有可能失败。报导称，收购对象将是整个公司，包括华纳兄弟探索的有线电视网络和电影工作室。
如果成功，这笔交易将整合好莱坞最著名的两家电影公司以及流媒体服务 HBO MAX 和 Paramount+ 。(完)
