当地时间7月4日，美国总统特朗普签署“大而美”税收和支出法案，使其生效。
美国国会众议院3日下午以218票赞成、214票反对的表决结果通过了总统特朗普推动的“大而美”法案。
该法案因造成联邦援助削减、长期债务增加和为富人及大企业减税等而备受争议。两名共和党籍众议员当天在表决中投了反对票。
该法案已于本月1日获参议院通过。
据7月3日报道，在与美国总统特朗普围绕“大而美”税收与支出法案争执升级的背景下，企业家埃隆·马斯克呼吁美政府全面公布与已故富商杰弗里·爱泼斯坦性侵丑闻相关的所有文件。此前，马斯克曾暗示特朗普与“爱泼斯坦案”有关联。在呼吁公布爱泼斯坦文件前约40分钟，马斯克再次呼吁，特朗普力推的这项法案不应该在国会获得通过。
