Palantir Technologies (PLTR) said Thursday it will co-develop with The Nuclear Company NOS, an AI-driven, real-time software platform for nuclear power plant construction.
Palantir shares rose 1% in premarket trading.
The aim is to transform construction of nuclear reactors into a data-driven, predictable process, according to a statement, enabling The Nuclear Company to build plants faster, safer and for less cost.
The company said the platform will boost efficiency by enhancing schedule certainty, reducing costs, preventing errors, and streamlining regulatory compliance through real-time data, predictive analytics, and AI-powered automation.
Palantir's said the project will be led by a joint engineering team and The Nuclear Company staff to unify nuclear construction data across the supply chain, workforce, safety, and engineering systems.
