Palantir shares fell 3% on Monday due to a U.S. credit rating downgrade.

iDoNews2025-05-20

Palantir (PLTR) shares plunged 3% on Monday after Moody's downgraded the U.S. credit rating. Moody's said the United States has a "persistently large fiscal deficit" and shows no signs of slowing down. Nevertheless, Palantir's stock price has risen by about two-thirds this year and hit a record high last week. Previously, the company was favored by the market due to its deal with NATO and better-than-expected quarterly sales, and was hailed by analysts as a "market definer" in the field of artificial intelligence.
