Li Bin: Auto Industry Finals Pattern to Take Shape by 2030, Expects At Least 10 Chinese Companies

Deep News01-06

On January 6, NIO announced the rollout of its 1 millionth mass-produced vehicle. NIO Founder, Chairman, and CEO Li Bin, along with Co-Founder and President Qin Lihong, engaged in a dialogue with the media.

In his earlier New Year letter to all employees, Li Bin stated that the competition in the smart electric vehicle industry has entered the final stage. Regarding this final phase, he projected that the industry landscape will begin to take shape by 2030 and be firmly established by 2035. He expressed disbelief that only 3-5 companies would ultimately survive, forecasting that at least 10 Chinese enterprises will remain.

"Everyone should avoid excessive anxiety. Rather than worrying, it's better to take action and focus on doing your own job well. The Chinese automotive industry will undoubtedly give rise to many outstanding companies," he remarked.
