BABA was finished the moment the government forced Jack Ma out. You cannot expect a company to innovate and grow when its wings are constantly being clipped. Same for Tencent.

China slowdown, covid, fear of US delisting, global market, logistics / shipping backlog, Ukraine... Have all conspired to push down $Alibaba(09988)$stock to the point it is now. I wouldn't be worried if it wasn't for insiders also seem to have lost confidence.  He's not just a horse in the sky - he gave hope and direction.  Miss him and miss those old days.

I believe the recent down trend is an overall market situation due to the locking down of some major cities in China due to the wide spread of Covid-19. This basically halted most of the business activities, once the cases are under control or the lock down is lifted, the stocks will likely get back up.

Seems like retail investors have more confidence than Institutions on BABA. But uf Charlie Munger is leading the way of moving to 9988 then we shouldn't really worry isn't it??

Time to buy more $Alibaba(BABA)$at this type of price $100 per share. When all these fearful news is out, best time to buy. But do buy in 3 to 4 trenches. i just bought my first Baba recently. Waiting to $ 97, $87 and $78 to DCA.

The decline is rather unwarranted, since the revenue still growing. The spending in near terms increase due to record-high fine and reinvestment into its subsidiaries. That's my two cents
